Alright,. folks, I'm going to dispense with the pleasantries and just get this out of the way now. If you are expecting some type of plant-based news update or a lighthearted entry into topics that are on the same wavelength, sorry, but you'll have to tune into another episode for that. I have been away for awhile tending to real life and it has spilled over into this project. So, here we are! I hope you enjoy my semi-return! TUNE IN NOW!!
Greetings to everyone and happy 2022! Last year was tough; really tough. This year is off to a really shaky start so, everyone needs to buckle in and dig deep because the worst may yet be around the corner. Don't think it's all bad, though; I give you a little boost with news from the plant-based world and there is always something fun to talk about in it from KFC FINALLY releasing Beyond Meat nuggets to what amazing things kelp can do for us. Unfortunately, this all comes attached with some sad news; this may be my last episode, and I go into why with this segment, but that doesn't mean I am going away for good or if I have even decided to hang it up. Things must change and I want to thank everyone that has supported me in this endeavor so far; you people are AWESOME in ways I can't explain. On that note, there is a lot of information to absorb this time around so, what are you all waiting for? TUNE IN NOW!!
Hello to all my fellow leaf lickers out there! November is here which means Plantsgiving is right around the corner for you and me. Alright alright, not everyone celebrates with a vegan faux turkey day like me so, for all you that baste turkeys and do the traditional thing, I say eat, drink and have a happy upcoming Thanksgiving! This month, to kick off the inevitable consumption of mass quantities, I talk about my time at the first annual Vegandale festival in Los Angeles this past October and some of the vendors that I tried. I also bring up some upcoming products in the plant-based fast food world, celebrities being involved in vegan activism and the COP26 Summit complete with my two cents on the whole affair. As always, there is tons of fun-filled information in this segment with lots of surprises and tons of ranting so, crack open a brew, microwave that crappy freezer burned vegan burrito that has been in your fridge for four months and TUNE IN NOW!!
Greetings, creeps! Your ol' pal has a delightful treat in store for you! Do you like ghouls? Ghosts? Things that go bump in the night? Maybe the unknown tickles your funny bone! We have lots of the strange and unusual to go 'round because, I myself am, strange and unusual. Maybe specters, spirits and monsters aren't what you're craving? Maybe the REAL monsters are more your speed. I have that covered as well, freaks! You do not want to miss this spooktabular episode! TUNE IN NOW!!!
Greetings, ghoulish ones! October is a special time of year where you gear up for all things autumn and scary. What better way than to kick things off by talking about the upcoming season with a good ol' fashioned segment complete with rants about everything pumpkin flavored and why the super rich are assholes. I pull no punches in this segment letting the fur fly no pun intended. Oh, I cover the news, don't worry, but if you were expecting your run-of-the-mill reading of what is new in the plant-based world, you got another thing coming. The gloves are off, folks, and you better be ready for some pre-Halloween vegan rage!! Well? what are you waiting for? TUNE IN NOW!!
What's up, guys? It is October once again which means Oktoberfest and Halloween! This year, there is no staying indoors due to COVID; anything goes! To kick off the month, I brought back one of my oldest guests who is passionate, knowledgeable and an all-around smart lady. Jennifer Golden, who runs The Vreamery in Paso Robles, rejoined the program where we catch up while train and car sounds in the background lighten the mood. We also talk about how Bill Gates may be on the verge of great things with lab grown meat, why the dairy free cheese industry needs to not use casein in the new stretchable dairy free cheese and all the fascinating ways that veganism has shaped our way of thinking of the past few years. I thoroughly enjoyed having this fantastic woman back on and there is so much more to listen to so, what are you waiting for? TUNE IN NOW!!

Hello to all my plant-based patrons! We're kickin' it with another episode showcasing everything current in the glorious vegan world. I have quite the tales to tell from Babybel releasing vegan cheese to your favorite frozen breakfast disc Eggo pairing with Gardein to make chick'n and waffles. There is also a lot of news regarding Michelin Star chefs making a push with more plant-based menus and how they are using more sustainability methods to lure in customers that are on the more upper-class scale. Be prepared for an epic discussion near the end of this broadcast as it is one of the more hard-hitting rants I have done. Tons of fun, information and unfiltered musings ahead so, what are you waiting for? TUNE IN NOW!!
Hello to all you plant-based patrons out there! For your esteemed host, it has been one hell of a month and, despite my best efforts, I was unable to secure a guest. That doesn't mean I don't have a back-up, though. I figured I would go in the archives and pull up a segment I recorded on my other podcast a few years ago that seemed to fit the mold of this program which is community and my love of beer. Excuse the poor audio and light editing; this was back when I was just starting. The interview was top notch, though, showcasing a very talented man by the name of James Claus who is one of the partners and head brewmaster of 3 Disciples Brewing in Santa Rosa, CA. This is easily one of my favorite guest encounters because of how passionate this man is about his career and all the insightful information he has regarding the industry. We discuss crowler vs. growler, if the industry is facing a bubble and what it takes to own your own brewery. Those of you expecting a vegan segment will have to wait, but those of you who love brew talk and just happen to be vegan, you're going to love this. I hope to have James back on at some point, but, until then, TUNE IN NOW!!
Greetings, everyone! It's that time once again where we take a trip around the world to see what is happening in the plant-based world and put some smiles on your faces knowing that Earth isn't completely messed up and that there are those out there trying to make a difference. Of course, not all is unicorns and rainbows, such as Nestle trying to muscle into the "sustainable" market as will be discussed. However, for every corporate glutton out there attempting to make a mockery of veganism in the name of profits, there are independent movers and shakers really making headway to produce quality products in the name of truly good intentions for the planet. From the UK to the US, this week covers it all and lots of surprises thrown in for good measure. You definitely don't want to miss this exciting segment. TUNE IN NOW!!
Greetings one and all! Summer is in full swing and that means it is HOT HOT HOT! Speaking of which, I have the extremely talented recording artist Arizona Lindsey returning this week to discuss in depth her album The Process which was just released and her take on what it means to her as well as my interpretations on the songs are. As a strong advocate of mental health, Ari is always striving to improve herself and the state of mind of others and it shows in her songs. We talk about this, how veganism is in her neck of the woods and a little bit of everything in between. Always a blast having her on the show so, you don't want to miss this episode. TUNE IN NOW!!
