Do you have a million things inside your head and the only way to gather them is to make notes? Same here. It used to be referred to as a scatty brain, then a grasshopper mind, but now it's likely to be ADD or ADHD and, somehow, society seems to treat us better with that label.
Making notes to gather these thoughts is a hugely helpful resource that, I believe, writers should utilise.
