Good morning Horners! Good Morning Gjallarhorn is kicking off the rust with a look at Vikings 2020 season. This is a quasi GMG pregame show where we take a quick look at what transpired in the off season and then dove straight into a preview of the Vikings 2020 schedule. We check out some of the opposing quarterbacks and key weapons. Some Mike Zimmer history against certain teams, and much, much more.

 What a wild summer so far. The virus has messed with just about everything in the football world from the draft where Rick Spielman set a personal record with 15 draft picks, to Michael Pierce signing then opting out for good reason, to the ultimate in trading for one of the best young defensive ends in the business. Trading for Yannick Ngakoue to play right defensive end with Danielle Hunter on the left and Ifeadi Odenigbo at 3T for passing downs should make for some wonderful QB pressures and sacks. That will help the young guns at cornerback too. Then to all the saga and musical chairs on the bane of everyone’s worries, the offensive line. Riley Reiff is staying… going… back to staying with a pay cut. Who are they starting guards and did they actually win the spots? Will this O-line be better than last season’s? All questions yet to be determined. What do you think?

 Then we get into the schedule. It will be strange to see games without fans for sure. You gotta love when the US Bank stadium gets rocking with the SKOL Chant and getting loud enough that opposing QBs can’t think. Obviously the team feeds from that. We look forward to seeing how it goes in the all important contest of week 1 against TTFW [That Team From Wisconsin - The Green Bay Packers]. Is Aaron Rodgers washed or is he going to have one of his better games with no fans? Do you worry? How about those other QBs on the schedule from greats like Tom Brady, Drew Brees, Phillip Rivers, how well Mike Tannehill played last season, to the regularly seen guys like Russell Wilson, Matt Ryan and then Matthew Stafford in the division? Oh, and there is Teddy Bridgewater returning and other decent signal callers. Come join us and take a look.
