The rest of this short video is my way of stating the quiet part out loud. We are all tired of the corruption in the U.S. government, the lies they are telling us and about the coming recession and how bad it may get.

Then I also tell everyone about how the cat 3 hurricane in the Caribbean right now, headed for the Gulf of Mexico. It's just the start, although the weather people are saying this one comes a little early. With this latest heat dome happening now, you have to really rethink yourself if you are a climate denier.

I offer some advice regarding the viruses still running amok, and all of the right wing nationalism taking place everywhere, especially in the west.

This is why I am so tired and depressed. Between the weather, bad politics, viruses and a looming recession, what is there to be upbeat about right now?

I also talk about how the U.S. is nearing a economic collapse because of the massive national debt that they are struggling to just pay the interest on right now. I have another discussion amongst friends today, this time with an addition to the commentary team. Not only do I have my friend Mitch back again, (I think this is going to be a very regular thing), I have our new friend, Ms. Frances Chiu, a very astute political analyst and noted Bernie Sanders fan. We mostly focus on U.S. politics in our first get together and deal with some minor IT technical issues on the part of Ms. Chiu. But that is what makes this show unique in that we all have internet problems from time to time and we don't try to hide our everyday struggles, whether it is plumbing, something breaking or the internet. Join us as we explore daily life together from our homes on the U.S. eastern coast every week to see if our daily struggles mirror your own in some way.

Once again, my friend Mitch and I sit down together and discuss the things that are foremost on our minds. His plumbing issues, my minor house repair issues up to global politics and a possible economic recession.

We are your every man/woman kind of people with normal weekly struggles and thoughts on what our government leaders are doing against our wishes.

I have for everyone a discussion between longtime friends about the things that matter most to average Americans right now. From broken air conditioners to politics. We spend an hour today in a discussion that is more like two friends hanging out, much like any other front yard talk between neighbors and friends.

Mitch expressed how much he enjoyed our talk together in this our first talk together and we are planning on doing this again soon. He is an immigrant, and I am a U.S. born citizen of Irish descent. I am more Irish than American in thought and deeds. I have been supporting Irish national politics for decades.

I am also a career U.S. military veteran who saw the worst of things overseas perpetrated by U.S. soldiers and policy makers. Now, I call it out as I can with this podcast whenever I can. I will have more controversial guests in the future who are not part of the mainstream podcast guesting circuit. My goal is to bring people on here whom the audience has not heard of much, if at all, to talk about current affairs, everyday affairs and veteran's affairs.

In this segment today, I read a satirical article that describes how commercial the U.S. has become. I read a transcript of the first amendment of the U.S. constitution and offer details on how bad the U.S. looks on the global theatre. The U.S. has made a lot of bad decisions in the last sixty-five years and things don't look good going forward.

I have an hour long interview with a young man who wrote a book debunking the Christian Bible and to a degree, the Jewish Torah, the old testament chapters to be more precise. We talk about his book and theology as it applies to the Christians around the world in all of their variations of this religious faith. We delve into some ancient history and an encouragement for students of Christian theology to read this book as it is an eye opener. It is short but very informative.
