I finally decided to come out of hiding to air my thoughts on the affairs of the world, Or at least the ones that matter the most to existence of the human race as we know it.

As usual, I run the gamut of the wars, U.S. politics, and a bit about the ongoing Covid epidemic that seems to garner little to no attention from anywhere anymore.

To top things off after describing just how close the U.S is to starting a nuclear war with Russia, I take the second half and read a couple of dystopian fiction short stories to give everyone a feel for what the end of civilization will look like after the world falls apart.

I read a new short dystopian future story that may be the beginning of a new book, and another chapter of The Priest. Be warned, the first story is restricted due to adult graphic language.

As mentioned previously, I am currently interviewing published book authors of fictional stories. This week, I have a somewhat short interview with a former Army Major, IT software developer, and author of four books now.

His latest, The Mahdi. We talk a little bit about his background but mostly about his books. This is not one of my better interviews as this gentleman needed some assistance with his laptop and the conversation was less than congenial at times. Take a look, if nothing else, his books look very interesting to read.

This week, I interview an award-winning author of The Birth of the Fae series.

A fantasy fiction about a whole different world and look at the Fae as we of Irish ancestry see them.

She is also a noted martial artist and cosplayer. All of which she talks about in the interview, but our main focus is about the world of traditional publishing and publishing companies.

My guest this week is a retired Marine Corp. Lieutenant Colonel, who transitioned off active duty into retirement in 2009. He had a good career and now, after a couple of other tries, has found a new calling into teaching people and businesses how to use and navigate social media.

He is also very active with his local American Legion post as a Vice Commander of one of the largest and most active American Legion posts in Georgia.

We talk about our different transitions from active duty, some of the struggles we had, and where we are now. We both agree that helping other veterans is a good cause and we both want to help any way we can. We lay out some ideas that could be implemented that would save money and help more veterans, if we could get someone to listen,

My scheduled guest for today had to reschedule due to an illness on his part, so I created another commentary to maintain some continuity.
