First, I can't apologize enough for missing my deadline on Wednesday. This week has been an absolute scheduling nightmare.

Now that my Mea Culpa is out of the way, let me tell you what happened and a little about this week's show. I had originally planned to have an interview with someone about his book that debunks the bible but at the last minute (after a couple of previous tries), he postponed and that set of a domino effect on the rest of the week's schedule. I had to put this commentary together in a hurry last Tuesday and I worked into the night trying to get a rough draft together in time for Wednesday.

After recording this show and crafting newsletters, by Wednesday night, I was knackered and I forgot to post this on rss.com.

In the show I give a brief religious and political history of the U.S., and outline some what if scenarios if certain events in American history had taken a different direction. The current U.S. might look a lot different than it does now.

I also talk about the current situation the U.S. finds itself in with the world turning against them and a possible future if the people don't do something soon.

Today, I offer you my commentary on the state of the American empire. How it is fading away into the history books, like the empires of old. The Romans, Persians, Ottomans and so on. The U.S. has dug itself a deep grave and, with this latest business of supporting the genocide in Gaza, is now preparing itself for a funeral. Unless the voters can effect some major changes in November, the U.S. will go down in the history books as another faded empire.

I hosted Mark Alsip, an author who wrote Journey to Reason. A book about his journey away from Christian fundamentalism. We talk about religious fundamentalism across the world, politics, and other related topics. Come in and give us a listen. I did have some audio issues, which I apologize for. Now corrected for any future shows.

I am bringing more agitation towards the western world over their treatment of the Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank again. I bash the United States in particular but I also bash the U.K. and the EU for sucking up to the U.S. and enabling Israel to continue with their ethnic cleansing.

I decided to talk about this after the events in the news last week over all the furor when the IDF killed those food aid workers. It took the deliberate targeting and murder of these seven people for Biden and company to finally put their foot down to Israel.

As I say in the podcast, too little, too late.

Why did it take the deaths of six white people and one interpreter for the west to tell Israel to back off and let the aid trucks in? And even then, only a few. They withdrew some soldiers from south Gaza, leaving two brigades in place. Big whoop.

All the while, making big threats about gearing up to invade Rafah at some undisclosed date as of yet. In today’s news, someone said that they are bluffing. What do you think?

In other news, I have a treat this week. I talked my favorite Brit, Martin Morrison, into reading his own story for me and I added it to the end of my monologue, with pictures of Palestine. Not the touristy ones.

I also added in a revised advertisement at about the fifteen minute mark. Fair warning. And you thought this was all for free. Gotcha’

Today, I interviewed Mr. Eugene Williams Jr., a noted author and educator who has agreed to talk to me today about some of the fuss over DEI or the lack of it in some schools and how that and other divisive government programs, or lack thereof, may be having on minority or economically challenged students.

In this week's show, I interview Russell K. Jack, who wrote "Is MAGA a Terrorist Movement?" We talk about his background and why he wrote the book. Also, I ask him about portions of the book as it applies to U.S. voters ahead of November's elections. Come in out of the rain and watch the show to get an idea of what's going on and what, as a voter, you can do to prevent an autocratic takeover of the United States government in 2025.

Today, I want to talk about poverty in the U.S. and how it continues to get worse by the month for a lot of people now. I also talk about the MAGA situation and how that will affect the country and the world if they take power in 2025. This week, I explain to all of the viewers and listeners about why I created this podcast and also a monologue about Gaza, the Palestinians, and other little wars around the world. It's more about the broad picture of how the richest countries missed the boat on stopping the Israelis and failing the Palestinians as the survivors in Gaza are slowly starving to death in an obvious genocide and ethnic cleansing. We have failed them.
