Today on I Hear Voices, Will Friedle and Christy Carlson Romano sit down with the ONE and ONLY Kevin Conroy, AKA Batman AKA Bruce Wayne. Kevin has been bringing the animated Batman to life through his voice for 30 YEARS! Can you believe it?

Kevin shares how his Julliard training and love for Shakespeare inform the way he voices Batman. He also details the origin of how the two distinct voices between Bruce Wayne and Batman came to be. Kevin is such a generous artist. It’s evident in the way he’s mentored Will, but also in how he celebrates everyone person who acts or voices a Batman. He gives insight into why Batman is still a relevant and welcomed character to explore. 

Kevin also shares what cartoons he grew up watching and offers the sweetest story about his first imaginary friends. Although Kevin believes the Batman story is the ultimate true hero’s journey, Kevin is OUR TRUE HERO, and we think you’ll agree.
