The Voncast Show

Wasn't able to secure a guest for this week so I decided to rant for half an hour. Did a re-cap of my weekend, being partially colorblind, answered questions about emotional vulnerability & more!

Sat down with body piercer / tattoo artist Rachel today and we discussed her upbringing in the east coast, how she got into piercings tattoos and transition to moving to Los Angeles. We also had a fun discussion about the difference between east coast pizza vs. west coast pizza and more! Had a fun conversation and had a blast hanging out at the farmers market afterwards.

Buck Stallion

A few months ago, I was at One Truth Tattoo ran into Buck Stallion there. One of the earlier podcasters I’ve met about a year ago with his own show, Wake N Bake Podcast”. Figured I would do an impromptu interview at the One Truth. I was also on his show about a year ago. Buck Stallion is a man who wears many hats. We talk about his upbringing, childhood, being a lounge singer, being in the TITS crew (Time Is Too Short) and more.

The first time I saw Kasper was at Sylmar’s Coffee and Cream open mic in 2012. I think it was his first time performing. From then to now, I’ve seen him on the grind dropping albums, doing countless shows, selling merchandise out his trunk and more. To me, Kasper has become a household name in the SFV Hip-Hop Scene. Going off that, we talked about his celebrity past life in the Philippines, being a father, holding down a successful rap career, advice in music, Tacos and more! He also has his own showcase, “Mr. Chow’s Show” which is a great platform for up and coming and or seasoned rappers to show off their music and generate a buzz. I have deep respect for artists that give back to the community in some type of way. Salute
