  • WWI #17; Kris Millington, President of Maxim Enterprise, Inc, makers of classic toys shares his barstool philosophy on life, death and a little bit in between.
Kris Millington is a good friend of mine (best man at my wedding and I was a waiter at his). He joins us today to talk a bit about his business of making toys with Maxim Enterprise. He shares his insights and how he became the President of the company his father worked for and what it is like working with the Chinese. We also discuss what it means to parent in the modern age; what college was like in the 90s compared to today, and of course we explore his philosophy in the meaning of life. This was a FaceTime interview and we had a bit of feedback (clicking and popping is on the recording, not your listening device) so bear with me as I figure out how to fix that in the future.Be sure to check us out on Facebook, Twitter, iTunes, Stitcher and TuneIn internet radio.Drop us a line at [email protected] intro and interludes brought to you by: Podington Bear, Ex Luna and Anima be sure to check them out!

Paul Adams rejoins the program to discuss the various philosophies on Free Will and highlights the fact that Mike and I are closer in relation to Neanderthals than to ancient philosophers! • WWI #14: New info on what makes us gain weight after we lose it; What would you do in a Zombie Apocalypse? Does Artificial Intelligence mean doomsday for humans?
Summer has been a bit busy
and we've been slow to get out new episodes. As we start to
approach the end of warm days (or for our Australian listeners... as the summer approaches), I have some interesting guests lined up!
We'll talk again to Philosopher Extraordinaire Paul Adams on the
meaning of free will and if it truly exists. And we'll be interviewing
true crime writer John Taylor on what makes a murderer, a sociopath/psychopath
and the reality of these real life monsters.
    Tonight, however,
Mike and I got together to chat it up and drink some whiskey as we
ponder some doomsday scenarios. We get an up date on the “Make it a Double” podcast and talk about new information on weight loss and weight
management (don't sigh... there's good info there).
    I hope you enjoy!
