Today, I open up about a part of my recent story I have yet to share publicity. For the entire year of 2023, I have struggled with severe gut issues and have stood in faith, believing for healing. This journey has compelled me to do a deep dive into faith and what I, and many others, tend to believe.
I address the lie that if you don't have enought faith you won't get healed and address the importance of living in both spiritual and practical faith.

Executive Director of Freedom Shield Foundation and Founder of Carrie Grace Consulting joins us today to tell a story she has not yet shared publicly!
I have known Carrie for a few years and have heard parts of her story that inspired me. However, I had not heard until recently that Carrie was also a part of a cult. Carrie shares with us today how she has found God's kindness in everything, including when she was in the cult and when she left and had to start her life over again.

A few weeks ago, I introduced you to my friend, Christina. I invited Christina to chat with us about this hot word, "deconstruction." And that podcast blew up!
Christina's Story had one of the best opening weeks of any episode so far. Yet, there have been a lot of mixed emotions and opinions surrounding that episode. After processing and praying through a few things, I want to share my heart on this topic further with you.
I have seen a lot of people on a mission to prove that God does not exist, only to discover that God does in fact exist and now those people have a thriving personal relationship with God. At the same time, I see a lot of people who call themselves Christians, raised in the church, who are walking away from God.
Why is that? Well, I will share my thoughts in this episode.

I cannot wait for you to meet my newest friend, Christina Rivera! A mutual friend introduced me to Christina just a few short months ago and we immediately began deep diving into difficult, controversial, theological, and philosophical conversations. Which, are my favorites, of course!
After going back and forth in our own personal conversation about "deconstruction", Christina made some deeply profound statements that compelled me ask her to say it on a podcast! And thankfully, she said yes!
"Deconstruction" is a hot topic right now and certainly a controversial one. For anyone who has questions about what deconstruction is, why go through it, or have any misconceptions about it, this podcast is for you. We hope that after listening to this podcast, you feel better equipped for this confusing and long journey we are on with God.

Allow me to introduce to you, Gabrielle! I met Gabrielle in 2016 at a Mission's School, called Harvest School. Since then, I have kept up with her journey on social media. I have watched her life change directions many times, so I decided to reach out and ask her about her journey.
In this episode, Gabrielle talks about how we make plans, yet God's plan for our lives is likely different. She talks about adjusting and surrounding to what God wants vs. what we want. I hope you feel encouraged and challenged in this episode!

I am excited to introduce to you a mentor, a second mom, and a friend for ten years, Linda Denzer! I have looked up to Linda and her husband Gary for a long time. Their marriage story is challenging and inspiring. But most importantly, when I felt frustrated, hopeless, and discouraged about meeting a husband, Linda and Gary spoke into my life and walked with me through my single journey. So, I invited Linda to speak to those who are single and still looking for that special someone one day. If you are single, or newly married, this is a good episode to listen to!

I am proud to have my OTHER Colombian sister/cousin on today's episode! I met Malu a few years ago and immediately fell in love with her. My favorite thing about Malu is the deep gratitude that she carries. I have never met a more grateful person in my life. Malu share her story about living in Colombia and then coming to the United States. She shares how she could have chosen to be bitter or resentful but instead chose gratitude and how that changed her life.

I am proud to have my Colombian sister/cousin on today's episode! I met Tali a few years ago and immediately fell in love with her. Tali has a unique perspective on life having grown up in Colombia and lived in the United States for a few years. Tali also has a great story about the difference between doing what is right for someone else, to show respect to someone, or because your job requires it vs. doing what is right because of your own personal relationship with God. I have watched Tali go from being a people pleaser to someone who wants to live a life pleasing to God. This is an episode everyone can relate to.
