Daniel will now tell Nebuchadnezzar his dream and its interpretation. Daniel not only tells the dream and its interpretation, but also tells the king what he was thinking prior to having the dream.
In this dream, God makes know to Nebuchadnezzar what will happen in the latter times. The time of the Gentiles is laid out before the king, and to us as well.
This amazing passage is foundational to our understanding of all biblical prophecy. It gives us a crystal-clear overview of where we are today, how we got here and what is about to take place.
What is revealed to us in this prophesy should impact the way we live for Jesus. It should cause us to live in obedience to Jesus Christ and His word regardless of cost or consequence. It should cause us to be willing to risk all for the cause of Christ.

In this study, we once again see the faith of Abram tested. His first test was a failure; however, he passes this test to the glory of God. As Warren Wiersbe says, "no failure in the school of faith is permanent".
The test takes place with his nephew Lot. In this test we see the contrast between a mature spiritual man and immature carnal man.
Abram sets before us a great example to follow. He moves forward in faith without striving He is generous and magnanimous. He is a man no longer concerned about self-preservation, rather he is filled with Divine anticipation.

Daniel and his companions, fresh out of training, are faced with a brutal crisis. This crisis is not of their making, yet they are in it all the same. The crisis came upon them without warning and with great suddenness.
Daniel once again shows how we as believers are to navigate through the crisis. He does so with great humility and boldness. Daniel purposed in his heart years earlier. He is more than ready for the crisis.
On earth Daniel and company are faced with a crisis. But in heaven, the stage is being set for God's sovereignty to take center stage through His servant Daniel.
It is ever critical that we look at all things through the lens of God's sovereignty. Regardless of what happens on earth, God is in control. All things are most certainly working together for good to the glory of God.

Abram is in the land of promise. In obedience he has come to the land. God has made an amazing covenant with Abram. An unconditional promise. Abram has pitched his tent and built his alter. He is now at a spiritual high point.
It is now that Abram will enter the furnace of testing. As it has been said, a faith that is not tested is a faith that cannot be trusted. Faith is not faith until it looks into the face of the impossible and believes steadfastly that with God all things are possible.
Abram fails the test, but with God, there is always opportunity for a new beginning. God delights in mercy. He loves the backslider. God graciously allows Abram to return and repent. In so doing, God brings revival into the heart of Abram

Here we see the godly character of Daniel and his three friends on full display. These are four young men that were willing to risk everything for the sake of God. In spite of the great crisis that they were living in, they had purposed in their heart that they would live for God at all times, in all places and in any circumstances.
A great example is set before us. How we need someone today who would dare to be a Daniel. Are we willing to risk all for the cause of Christ in order that you and I may be all for the cause of Christ?
Are we living for Jesus today? Do we hear God's word, know God's word and live in obedience to God's word today? Have we purposed in our heart today that we will risk all for the cause of Christ so that we may live fully for Christ?

In this study we are introduced to Abram who will ultimately be renamed to Abraham. Abraham is the only man in the bible to be called the friend of God. This alone tells you about the godly character of this man.
Here we will see how God calls Abram. Not only does God call Abram but gives him some amazing promises. Promises that are foundational to the nation of Israel to this day. Promises that only God would be able to keep.
We have much to learn from the life of Abraham. Hold on tight as we now begin to look deep into his life through the word of God.

The theme of Daniel is the sovereignty of God. God is sovereign over history. God is sovereign over all nations and their leaders. There is nothing that happens in all of creation apart from God's sovereignty.
Considering the days that we are living in, I cannot stress enough the absolute importance of looking at all things through the lens of God's sovereignty.
Daniel, as we shall see, was faced with a crisis of immense proportion. It was beyond devastating. And yet in the midst of his crisis, Daniel purposed in his heart that nothing would come between him and His God. This crisis did not make Daniel, it revealed the great godly character that he possessed.
What have we purposed in our hearts? Are we prepared for the crisis? Preparation for the crisis does not take place in the crisis but prior to the crisis. Have you determined today that you will live in faithful obedience to Jesus Christ and His word regardless of cost of consequence?

In this study we look at the amazing event that took place at the tower of Babel. Only 5 generations past the flood and mankind was in open rebellion and defiance toward God. Rather than multiplying and filling the whole earth, they gathered together in the land of Shinar.
There they sought to build a tower that would be the gateway to the gods. It was here that they thought they could become like God. Their pride and arrogance allowed them to be deceived into believing this original lie from Satan.
When the sin, iniquity and transgression of man rises up, the judgment of God comes down. It was here at Babel that God confused the language and scattered mankind over the face of all the earth. God overruled the rebellious heart of man.

This was our final study in the great book of Galatians. Paul has firmly defended that great doctrine of justification by faith. Furthermore, he has instructed us on how we are to make full application of this doctrine in our daily living.
Every believer has been justified by faith alone in Christ alone. We are also being sanctified by faith alone in Christ alone. As a result, we are able to stand fast in the liberty that we have in Christ Jesus. We are able to walk in the Spirit and be led by the Spirit.
Paul also gave us instruction on how to identify a legalist. It is critical that we be able to mark a legalist and avoid them as well. Nothing good will ever come from legalism.
Finally, it is worth noting that Paul began this difficult letter with grace. He also ended it with grace. We must always remember that it is all of grace!

In this study we see the great failure of Noah. How sad to see the corruption of the best. Noah was just coming off a tremendous victory. The conditions that he was living in were good. Just a reminder that the most legitimate of situations may become the great occasion for temptation.
For us, it is a reminder, we must stay on guard at all times. Satan is ever on the prowl seeking who he may devour.
We also see how from the three sons of Noah, the entire world would become populated. All the nations of the world come from one human family. We are all one blood. It is God who sets the times and boundaries for all nations. God is the God of every nation, and He is in control.
