Things are getting animated at the WDWE Podcast. Per Phil’s recommendation, Ben tried anime for the first time with Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood. It raises some interesting points: What even is anime? How is it different than Western storytelling? Is Ben too weirded out to keep watching, or is there actually something to like here?

Phil and Ben dig deep into this mid-2000s throwback and take, as Hammy would say, a weed hacker to their childhood memories as they realize some movies don’t age very well.
