The Weekend Spread: College Football Show

Week 5 didn't bring total chaos, but it told us a lot about who's real, who is just fun. Bobby and Boatin' Blake sort the true contenders from the flawed teams that will still sneak into the playoff.

Mizzou ran Florida out of Faurot Field, and we ask whether the Gators were ever a contender. Alabama looks like Kalen DeBoer's team now, and Keelon Russell deserves Heisman buzz after handling Kamario Taylor and Mississippi State in Starkville. Miami might be the best team in the country, while Clemson's days of being a powerhouse are clearly behind them. Blake reports from Fort Worth on TCU's 17-10 loss to BYU and the paper bags in the stands. Beef of the Week officially retires Texas State and Boko the Bobcat after they blew a 17-3 lead to a San Diego State team battling the mumps.
