This week on The Whiskey Trip Podcast, Big Chief invites his great friend, Adam Boothby, to sample two whiskeys that are new to him - a rice whiskey from Louisiana and a rye whiskey from the Eifel region of Germany.

They also discuss the Bourbon on the Banks’ VIP Reception and Auction in the first half, then chat about next week’s guest as well as Big Chief’s visit to South Dakota in the second half of the episode.

In the first half, Big Chief and Adam enjoy Eiffel Whiskey, a German rye with a mashbill of 90% rye and 10% malted barley that is 96 proof. In the second half, the guys sample JT MELECK, a 100% rice mashbill that has been aged 4 years and is 96 proof. Both of these unique whiskeys surprise the guys.
