Brrrrrrrr! Baltic temperatures today: a bitter air temp of -22 at Whistler Peak. That's before wind chill!

You can avoid frost nip and frost bite today and tomorrow by pre-emptively wearing toe/foot/hand warmers; skiing gondola laps as opposed to exposed open chairs; regular warming breaks; and make sure you check on others for signs of skin damage on exposed flesh (face) - particularly kids! <3

4cm on the Stake this morning! Temperatures are cooler than yesterday - but not as cold as they're about to be - brrrr; winds have lessened from yesterday too; the Half-pipe has been groomed (not with the Dragon); and sunset is at 5:39pm!

Cloudy skies and limited vis today; with mild temps and no new snow. However, precip arrives today and overnight: squeezed in before the arrival of some very cold arctic air and high pressure on Tuesday eve!

Happy snow day! It looks more like 10cm on the snow ruler this morning ;) Flurries expected throughout the weekend with a consistent near valley freezing level forecast.

-1 at the Horstman Hut on Sunday and now -12 this morning. The temperature swing has made a crispy melt/freeze crust on a few aspects and at a high elevation yesterday too! BUT: there's 6cm of fresh atop it today ^_^

Just 2cm on the stake this morning but those high winds last night will have redistributed some snow to hunt. Temperatures are much colder today too thankfully; and sun is on the way tomorrow!
