No rain in the forecast?? It's been a long while since we've seen that!

Cheakamus Lake trail is still closed; the Mozzies are apparently apocalyptic at Lillooet Lake; DJ Foxy Moron opens for Tynomi Banks at Olympic Plaza on Thursday; and staffing issues at Meadow Park and the Rebuild it Centre (amongst many other places) cause closures.

We're in store for a cooler weekend but next week is gonna be sunny and b.e.a.utiful <3

Stage 2 Water conservancy is in effect; Evo Ebikes are coming to Whistler; Barney Bentall plays at Olympic Plaza tonight; and Harry the doodle was found!

How great was yesterday eh? Today will be a doozy too ^_^

However... with warmer temperatures and high water levels comes mosquitoes: i'll report back on Friday after my FIRST camp of the year!

I hope you had a terrific long weekend? Summer (well - despite yesterday's and today's weather) really feels like it's in full swing eh? Although, my facebook memories of high Alpine hiking from this time in previous years, makes me hyper aware that the Wildflower season this year will likely be very short! I bet you're eager to get elevated too but the snowline this year is receding slowwwwwly.

The rain is truly great for our fire hazard: in fact - there's no coastal region fire ban which is unheard of for July: so you can stay toasty when camping and see all those mosquitoes with better clarity! Ha.
