With WB closing it's Bike Park and Lift operations until opening day on November 24th, I really feel this is the quietest time of year in town - and usually the wettest! Environmentally: our province is desperate for rain :'(

These warm Fall days have been lovely eh? Not so great for the environment: having seen a fresh Smoke Plume north of Pemberton yesterday :( I'm reminded how much we need rain (as of today there are 181 active fires in BC). But until it arrives: I hope you're enjoying the sunny skies. The upper Treeline foliage colours are absolutely stunning right now!

TOMORROW: another all candidates meeting at the Maury Young Arts Centre AT 5:30PM.

AND advance voting is open at the Whistler Public Library from 8am to 8pm.

It is Truth and Reconciliation Day <3 Be easy on yourselves and each other. The SLCC is offering free admission today and through the weekend and has some fantastic programming and opportunities to connect and learn.

Our town, like any other, has problems - but I genuinely believe the community here is paramount. Please get involved and informed with our upcoming municipal election. Tomorrow's all candidates meeting at the Maury Young Arts Centre 6-9pm requires registration.

There'll be showers and cooler temperatures today but Monday's and Tuesday's forecast is looking marvellous <3 With yesterday being the first day of Fall and the Equinox - I'm sure gonna soak up the sun whilst it's here and hope you do too! ^_^ The Decker Loop was so lovely yesterday!

If you're pumped for Winter though: The Manboys are premiering their latest movie Plank on Sunday; The Brandywine Boogie is tomorrow; along with the Callaghan Country's Huckleberry Fest and Pancake Breakfast; and Stinky's on the Stroll is awesome everyday ;) <3

Who isn't loving this gorgeous high pressure and weather?!? After a wet spring: I'm sure trying to make the most of it and hope you are too! ^_^ I'll watch the Rings of Power and House of dragons when the weather turns! Ha.

It was SO bloody good to see so many people at Sunday's Beer Fest <3 Man, our community is just the best eh?

There are LOTS of events this weekend and some welcome rain today! ^_^

The Terry Fox Run is on Sunday; The WVBF is in full swing; Fungus Among Us will be Oct 14th and 15th; Oyster Fest will be back; and the Meadow Park Pool reopens next week!

Woah - it's been a couple weeks! How've you been?

The skies are smokey and there is an air quality statement in effect for the next 24-48 hours. Be easy on yourself and check-in with those more vulnerable <3

Rain is in the forecast with some incoming low pressure and a change is in the air. That means Winter is coming and although it's sad to see Summer ending: the trees reminding us that it's good to let go - is a beautiful thing ^_^

Some showers and cooler temperatures in the forecast will be welcome by all - I'm sure - but it comes with the threat of thunderstorms today and tomorrow!

I hope you had a funktastic time at the last of the Summer Concert Series shows last night; that you're able to make it to Coast Mountain's SIXTH Anniversary party tomorrow; and that you squeeze in as much Mountain adventuring as you can - September looms!
