The freezing level drops this afternoon and tonight and we have more snow across the weekend.

9cm on the storm board for the first report today with snow still falling but with winds near 120kmh last night in the alpine and 80kmh this morning, you can expected very reactive storm slabs in the alpine: don't be surprised if Peak and symphony don't open today. The Avi danger is also considerable/dangerous in treeline and below treeline - shred safe and with buddies! ^_^

The Bobcat is reversing on the valley trail this morning but no major snow overnight: 1cm in fact on the preliminary report!

Great vis today, cold temps and calm winds should make for a beautiful day ^_^ After some warm temperatures and high winds though, we'll have to hunt for the goods!

The freezing level remains high today: although winds are much lessened than yesterday's gnarly gusts! The freezing level will lower tonight but "Overnight snowfall and strong wind will create very dangerous avalanche conditions at upper elevations" today. The danger is considerable below treelike also!

Today the lift lines will be smaller though ;)
