The rise of GLP1s (and other procedures, like botox) attempt to kill desire. This affects all of us, even people who don't feel impacted. Desire isn't an enemy. It's actually a big factor in reaching new spiritual heights and accessing vaster emotional intelligence. How can we protect ourselves from this dangerous trend? It's not as simple as not using weight loss drugs. Our collective peace depends on our individual investigation of what is real, whole, and under the surface—waiting to be seen.

The rise of weight loss drugs is signifying a much broader, deeper collective shift that we need to all be aware of, because we are all affected by it. I'm talking about normalized numbness and conformity in exchange for embodied feelings.

Desire is being criminalized and colonized by big drug companies, and people are paying hundreds of dollars (sometimes) to keep their minds "quiet". This video isn't about weight loss. What pushes us over the edge to really be the happiest, most fulfilled version of ourselves? What does desire really do for us, beyond just being a biological impulse?

There are horrible consequences when the collective begins to accept numbness as normal and external conformity as "worth the loss" of the emotional landscape. This is happening right now, in a new and more severe way than ever before. In this video I'll share with you what I'm seeing in dark corners of the internet…how it's become popular and "Hot" to eradicate desire in order to reach an external goal. This eradication of a human drive—the urge to feel pleasure— is another attempt at colonization…of the very spirit of humanness.

I'll give you some pointers in this video for how to recalibrate and recognize the path of wisdom within you, especially in those moments when desire is pulling us into desires based on a lie.

This episode explores two kinds of trust that we encounter on our path through life and awakening— one born of survival, and one born of maturity and a deeper unfolding of life itself.
