Witty Committee here, your one and only source into the scandalous books we know as the Gossip Girl series. Welcome to season two. We've graduated from middle school cliques to waspoids and Audrey Hepburn-wannabes, so this week we're tackling the eponymous first book in Cecily von Ziegesars's hit series. Don't worry, even if you've seen the show, there are still plenty of surprises in store. We know you missed us.

In celebration of our season finale, we're watching the cult-classic, Oscar-snubbed film adaptation of The Clique. Produced by Tyra Banks, this direct-to-DVD masterpiece had us feeling nostalgic for years and episodes past. Grab a drink and join us as we finish The Clique with a bang.

After hearing her father's devastating news, Massie's not sure what she's more nervous about: losing her money or losing her friends. When Claire convinces her to open up to the Pretty Committee, Massie realizes the truth will set you free. And there's nothing broke girls like more than free stuff, right? With the biggest party of the year comes the biggest twist of all, and it turns out that each girl has something to hide. Will Massie get her fairytale ending, or just the castle that comes with it? This is the end of the Pretty Committee as we know it. 

Massie made her bed, but will she have to lie in it, or is it already infested? Claire and Layne form a peaceful militia and lead a coup through the halls of OCD. Can their new government withstand a united Pretty Committee? Can Massie shake off her nerves and finally kiss Landon? Or will the Block estate begin to crumble around her, brick by brick?

Can she handle the heat, or will she have to kiss her FBFFs goodbye? 

Briarwood boys are so last year.  Massie and the PC are ready to upgrade to the latest models, a.k.a. 9th grade boys. Will Massie catch her crush, or is there already a bird in Landon Crane's nest? Can Claire Lyons prove that her vintage crush, Cam, is just as awesome as ADD's hottest boys? The Pretty Committee may be reunited, but who knows how long that will last....

All your burning questions are finally answered. The Pretty Committee's resident smartiepants, Kristen Gregory, has quite the secret. Kristen moonlights as the alpha of Westchester's hottest underground clique, chases the surfer boy of her dreams, and searches to find her true self, all while avoided her hover-mom, Marsha. Will she learn to hang ten to catch a ten? Will she find out where she belongs? Will her dad finally go to prison? All this (and more!) in this week's episode.

MAC vs. PC: a debate as old as time, and one Claire Lyons has no interest in answering. Rather than choose a side in the OCD power struggle that is her friendship faction, Claire swears to remain neutral and split her time between her friends. Meanwhile Massie's new motto is "if you can't beat 'em, buy 'em," and sets her sights on building the best clique Westchester has ever seen, with help from none other than...Layne Abeley? Claire had better put together one of her classic schemes quickly, or else the Pretty Committee will end up like Humpty Dempsey (sorry, Humpty Dumpty) and never get put back together again!

That means snagging a coveted role in a music video for Spain’s mysterious pop sensation, and avoiding Nina the Obscen-a. But being an alpha comes at a cost: $29,800 to be exact. Will she achieve her Eurovision, or is this Fannish princess finished?
