Hey 'Splainers! We'd like to introduce you to Sh*t Show, a new podcast produced by hubs of the pod, Ian, and featuring our very own Rae! If you love movies and learning about the behind-the-scenes shenanigans that make them happen, then this is the show for you. Check it out!
Well, we’ve finally done it, we’ve answered ALL of the questions and solved every problem in the world. You’re welcome.
In the penultimate episode of The Womansplaining Podcast, The ‘Splainers are joined by “J” - a nurse practitioner at Planned Parenthood. He’s here to help us answer all your questions about women’s health, birth control, and the various services offered by their clinics. Sheryl also gets a lesson about men’s health and what the phrase “shooting blanks” actually means (Hint: Men, your balls won’t actually explode if you get a vasectomy!) We also discuss the misconceptions, stigma, and funding cuts faced by Planned Parenthood and how you can get involved if you’re as passionate about reproductive health as we are! Their services are for everyone and literally help save lives, so please consider donating.
Visit https://www.plannedparenthood.org/ to see how you can get involved!

Let’s talk about sex, baybeeee! This week the ‘Splainers are joined by Collete, a licensed clinical social worker and sex-therapist-in-training, who is here to answer all your question about *ahem* the “s word.” First, we ask what exactly is sex therapy? Then we talk about common hangups, intimacy, keeping things spicy in the bedroom (or not), overcoming shame culture, and not self-objectifying during sex. Oh, and we figure out what the lady version of blue balls is called. You don’t want to miss this one!

What does it mean to be “basic”? Why does liking fall, sweaters, Uggs, and hay rides mean you’re basic? Why should you hide your pumpkin spice latte addiction from your friends and family?

We’re back for season three, baybeees! That’s right, The Official Podcast of Drinking Wine in the Tub is back! We’ve got new segments, new questions, new shenanigans, and brand new sh*t we bought on Instagram to tell you about! We cover some news about the Equal Rights Amendment (Thanks, Jessica!) and then answer “Why is it not ok to ask a lady her age?”
This week we’re joined by Sheryl’s friend Nikki and answering questions about dating, relationships, and lerrrrv. How much independence is too much or too little in a potential partner? How can you tell the difference between love and infatuation? And how dateable is a guy who lives with his parents? Our answer is courtesy of TLC’s “No Scrubs”

This week we are joined by local actor (and Melissa’s college friend), Mara, to talk about sexism and misogyny in the arts. We discuss type casting, the lack of meaty roles for women, how men write female characters, the “casting couch,” and some #MeToo moments for good measure!

Have a question, topic, or a Mansplaining moment?
This week The ‘Splainers are joined by local SLC drag queen Mona Diet to answer all your questions about the art of Drag! Mona helps us tackle questions about performance styles, pronouns, makeup and fashion, tucking, and the gender spectrum. And remember, if you have any more questions about sexuality or gender, Google is always there for you. She never sleeps and she doesn’t care how dirty you ask!
