"Darkness creeps all through the trees

The moonlight meets an eerie breeze

Bears and wolves in search of prey

Promote a podcast for all to play

And those in chat who do ignore

Who leave no rating at our door

Shall see the shadow men at night

And perish from a werewolf’s bite

The stench of bigfoot fills the air

And black-eyed children seek to scare

Creeps and Cryptids will haunt your dreams

Then they’ll feed off your horrid screams

And those who don’t rate and subscribe

Your foolish choices will not last

For no mere mortal can resist

The Halloween Woodsmen podcast"

Join us for some laughs, some scares, and a spooky interview on this very special episode of The Woodsmen Podcast. Happy Halloween!

What happens when your morals are compromised? When the things you were taught from a child like "help those in need" or when you become a parent, "I can't leave those kids by themselves" are exactly what your 6th sense is telling you NOT to do? What happens when a child shows up on your doorstep at 2AM asking to use your phone? What happens when your gut feeling tells you that "something's just not quite right with this situation". And what happens when that SAME child somehow hears those thoughts and looks up to you with piercing black eyes? We don't have those answers, but we can tell you one thing here at The Woodsmen: DO NOT LET THEM IN.

Last week, we delved into the concept of near-death experiences, a term coined by Raymond Moody, author of the book "Life After Life." He conducted numerous interviews with individuals who claimed to have returned from the brink of death with accounts of life continuing after their supposed demise. We provided technical information last week, but this week, we'll be sharing stories from various individuals who claim to have their own experiences of the afterlife. Are these stories true or merely products of their minds under extreme bodily stress? Find out in this week's episode of The Woodsmen Podcast!

As the Halloween season approaches, our contemplation of death becomes more frequent. We begin to ponder questions such as "Who are we? How will we meet our end? What comes next? Is there an afterlife, or does life simply cease after death?" Dr. Raymond Moody, the author of "Life After Life," delved into these same questions when conversing with individuals who claimed to have returned to the realm of the living after being declared dead by medical professionals. This exploration led him to coin the term "The Near-Death Experience" and to delve into its significance. What exactly is it? Who undergoes such an experience? And could this research substantiate the existence of an afterlife?

As inhabitants of Earth, we have always been fascinated by the stars and the sense of wonder they inspire. When humans first ventured into space, they were struck by how insignificant their earthly problems seemed when looking back at their home planet. However, it's concerning that a large portion of the Earth's population has not had the opportunity to see the planet from space, leading to various conspiracy theories about the true nature of Earth. Is our planet truly a spherical body in the vastness of the galaxy, or is it actually flat like a map? Join us in exploring the flat Earth debate, here, on THE WOODSMEN PODCAST.

As people who have based their entire personalities around a bear and a wolf, we here at the Woodsmen Podcast love the idea of the forest. We love how freeing it is, how calming and peaceful it feels, and honestly wish we could spend an endless amount of time in it. Sure, we know the dangers of the wilderness and all the animals that could potentially end our existence on God's green Earth, but what happens when something unexplainable or even paranormal occurs when you're out there? There are so many accounts from the beginning of written language that have to do with mythical creatures, spirits, and things the human mind simply can't explain taking place within the woods. This begs the question: were they all just stories, or is there a little bit of truth within them? Join us on this week's episode of the Woodsmen Podcast.

Throughout history, humans have exhibited a remarkable ability not only to overcome the challenges of existence but also to derive profound satisfaction from their endeavors. As individuals driven by creativity, our entire team has developed a passion for music, film, editing, and various other artistic pursuits. However, we now find ourselves in an age where many individuals seem uninterested in generating original content. Instead, they are content to rework existing material, recast actors, reuse content, and reuse/sample music. And don’t get me started on the reliance of AI to shorten turnaround times. This prompts the question: Is creativity dead, or have we succumbed to profound laziness? Join us for an exploration of this topic on the latest episode of The Woodsmen Podcast.
