Rev. Lee speaks of how the Spirit's procession distinguishes the third person from the Father and the Son, and how the western church's addition of "and the Son" contributed to the Great Schism.

Rev. Lee concludes our series through Romans by looking at how the church in Rome is a snapshot of a community of believers formed and shaped by God's grace in them.

Darryl Hart is a church historian and author of many books, including Benjamin Franklin: Cultural Protestant; American Catholic: The Politics of Faith During the Cold War, and A Secular Faith: Why Christianity Favors the Separation of Church and State. His talk will explore how the church is called to be in dialogue with our unbelieving neighbors in the world, or in the words of Christ, "in the world, but not of the world.” Drawing on his recent book, he will show what the church can learn from secular thinkers such as Benjamin Franklin, and what Ben Franklin can learn from the church.

The resurrection of Lazarus is a turning point in John's Gospel, and directly leads to the events of Palm Sunday. Jesus tells Martha "I am the Resurrection and the Life," and asks here, "Do you believe this?" This is the question facing each one of us during Holy Week.
