As we reported yesterday Open Doors released their 2018 World Watch List of countries with the most persecution against Christians

David Curry CEO of Open Doors USA released a message this week highlighting three trends in the report First Curry noted North Korea tops the list again as a rogue nation where their leader is treated like a god while doing everything to hunt down and destroy Christianity

Second Curry spoke about increased persecution of Christian women with over 2000 documented cases last year amounting to six women being abused every day mostly by Muslim men

The data seems to prove that Christian women are the most vulnerable population in the world today with sexual harassment rape and forced marriage being prime tactics of extremists around the world against Christians

Oprah addressed the need for women to speak truth to power in terms of the inappropriate behavior and sexual assault which they have endured at the hands of powerful men

So I want tonight to express gratitude to all the women who have endured years of abuse and assault because they like my mother had children to feed and bills to pay and dreams to pursue

Ive interviewed and portrayed people whove withstood some of the ugliest things life can throw at you but the one quality all of them seem to share is an ability to maintain hope for a brighter morning even during our darkest nights So I want all the girls watching here now to know that a new day is on the horizon

Supreme Court Upholds Mississippi Law Protecting Religious Freedom for Those Opposed to Homosexuality

The United States Supreme Court refused to hear the case of homosexuals who protested a Mississippi law that allowed religious liberty for Christian businesses who did not wish to participate in homosexual faux weddings

The law allows for county clerks to exempt themselves from issuing marriage licenses to homosexuals against their consciences The law protects the consciences of those who hold to three religious beliefs

1 that marriage is only between a man and a woman

2 that sexual behavior should only occur within such a marriage

3and that a persons gender is determined at birth and cannot be altered
