Plus, how their latest single has taken on a journey that started right back in the early 80s, Eugene’s dark past as an athlete and why their soundchecks have changed over time!

    Hull legend and very funny comedian Jed Salisbury joins Chris this week for another fresh collection of worst times!

    Jed gloriously reminisces on a first date with a woman where he basically became a stepdad for the evneing as well as an extremely wild event at Doncaster Races Ladies Day which involved at least 2 strippers, maybe 3! Also, the story of the comedy gig he got booked for that involved heroin, the Crossbow Killer and an audience member showcasing ‘the bulldog’ on stage. It’s quite the tale!

    Chris ventures out of the studio this week to chat with DJ & producer Lizzie Curious at the glamourous location of Butlin’s Minehead!

    The pair of them are there to DJ at Fatboy Slim’s All Back To Minehead weekend and between shows they sit down for a chat (after Lizzie narrowly avoided being attacked by a rogue Somerset seagull). She reveals to Chris some of the mad experiences that have happened whilst she’s been behind the decks, from nearly being crushed by a giant buddha to losing her wedding ring mid-set!

    A very special episode this week as Chris’s long-time friend and collaborator Dom Kidson reluctancy agrees to record an episode for the podcast! For those who don’t know Dom, he is a man who has had so many worst time moments, this whole series could have been dedicated to him.

    DK recounts not just one, but two times in which he experienced relatively severe head injuries whilst intoxicated and the aftermath of them both. Also, what did Dom do instead of flyering for an event in Sheffield circa 2011? The answer will both shock and appal you! Thank you to the great man for blessing his time with The Worst Time Podcast. He will certainly be on again.
