The pair chat from a tent surrounded by Bannau Brycheiniog drizzle and cover all things related to worst times at festivals. Jimmy reminisces on one of his first festival experiences as a performer and how he narrowly avoided on stage electrocution as well as how he got caught short during a big Snoop Dogg show on the Isle of Wight. Plus, the oft-discussed-on-the-podcast-Y-Not Festival-story gets the Jimmy The Gent version of events!

The wonderful comedian & podcaster Rich Wilson steps up this week in revealing his worst times to host Chris Arnold!

Fresh from a 12 hour round trip for a gig, Rich recounts some delightful character-building tales including falling down the stairs at a nightclub in Bath, trying to get to North Wales in a blizzard and audience members in Leeds turning their back on him mid show. Also, why doing TV warm up for Loose Women is a tough gig, but Dermot O’Leary will make things better.

A titan of hip hop joins Chris on the podcast this week – Eggsy from Goldie Lookin Chain!

With a 20 year career with GLC under his belt, Eggsy has plenty of worst time tales to share, including being stuck on bus in Germany when a terrible sickness struck, a mystery gifted cake resulting in the group being under the influence on live TV with Russell Brand & Carl Barrett and a recent bingo show performance that ended with abuse from a girl clutching a box of Frosties. Plus he teaches Chris how to make his favourite on-the-road snack – sausage rolls in a mug.

It’s another festival special and this time Chris is kicking it at the lively Latitude Festival with the wonderful New York Brass Band!

A chat with five members of the festival favourites and party starters which took place mere metres away from the backstage portaloos in the Trailer Park area of Latitude and includes some startling historical worst time nuggets; including feet being washed with lager, a mythical Glastonbury chicken outlet, a stolen van and a trip to Wuhan. James also perhaps oversteps some boundaries towards the end of the episode with some comments that left his fellow band members/sons Charlie & Joe speechless, which of course is not ideal for an audio podcast.

New York Brass band are constantly popping up and performing at various festivals across the UK and beyond. They are also a fantastic wedding band – if you’re getting married give them a call!

The supremely talented DJ Yoda takes time out of his busy summer season to chat to Chris Arnold for episode 15 of the Worst Time Podcast!

His tales include a disastrous trip to Jersey, a late-night wig-related encounter, technological woes and a completely nude intergenerational Norwegian family. This episode is quite the journey!

Comedian Eva Bindeman is in the hot seat this week and adds three tremendous anecdotes to the Worst Time Podcast collection.

She tells Chris Arnold about her fairly disastrous time on one of the nation’s most popular TV talent shows, how a lovely picnic with two infants turned into chaos and a Halloween in LA which resulted in her almost meeting Snoop Dogg dressed as a giant pumpkin. The word ‘almost’ doing a lot of the heavy lifting in that sentence.

You can catch Eva’s show ‘Semi Killer’ at the Edinburgh Fringe this summer and she can be found performing at comedy clubs all around the country during the rest of the year. Lots of swearing on this episode, including the worst swear word out there (which has been bleeped to protect the listeners).

The hilarious comedy double act Larry & Paul join Chris for a very funny episode of the Worst Time Podcast!

The duo speak to Chris about how they bonded over their hatred of a magazine article, the story of their illustrious career in local radio and an anecdote about a night out in London which might just be the funniest story so far on the podcast. Plus, how they tried to keep it together whilst hungover on air and the fun you can have performing to nobody in a room above a pub in Darlington.

Chris is joined by his dear friend and co-performer Kev Tungatt as they recount some of their worst festival-themed times all whilst walking across the massive Worthy Farm site. Kev remembers the first festival Chris took him too, which included more nudity than he was expecting, as well as why he was told off for disrupting a surprise Hozier show. Also, there are two Paul McCartney anecdotes, one good one involving sunsets, one bad one involving urine. What a treat for the listeners!

The pair also discuss the current state of affairs at the Edinburgh Fringe and what touring Western Australia is like.
