We all have that little voice inside of us, guiding us, but many of us ignore it. It doesn't seem logical or rational? Where is the science and evidence to show us it's okay to follow it?
Cara Kelley shares her story about "Following Your Truth" and how listening to that little voice is actually your inner compass. She gives us tips and tools how to gain self-trust and decipher what that little voice is telling us. We all have it, now we need the courage to listen.
Entrepreneurship seems hard. Starting a business seems like it would be difficult. We have all these preconceived notions of what it takes, but does it really?
Listen in on Kat's story as she decided to start a business, took massive action, and used her network to build a sustainable business in ONE MONTH. I can't wait to share her with the world.
This FIRST interview of the podcast goes DEEP into the relationship we have with our bodies, minds, spirits, and old stories. Dr. Katie is an expert in women's health and using food as medicine to heal. She shares her story as a former professional dancer, pre med student, yoga teacher, and now women's health chiropractor. She gives us thought-provoking insight and tips to better love ourselves and shine our light.
So many times, we think we want one thing. We are so focused on that one thing, we forget why we wanted it in the first place. As humans, we are so good at putting blinders on and working towards a goal, we don't think about WHY.
This podcasts goes into my story of when I stopped asking myself, "Why?" and "What do I really want?" And how it changed the entire direction of my life. Almost a year ago, I was in a pre-med program on my way to being in med school until I looked deeper on why I wanted it. Now, I am a life coach, speaker, and worthiness warrior bringing this podcast to you.
What would happen to your life if you just asked yourself one simple question:
1. Why do you want this?
"Self-care" is the new buzzword. So, how do we know when what we think is self-care can actually be enabling our habits and NOT moving us forward? How do we know when it's good to rest versus time to workout? When is it treating ourselves with cake, cookies, pizza, and ice cream and when it's doing a disservice to our bodies?
In this episode, I dissect what self-care means, when it is actually self-care, and how to see for yourself!
Why not me? Why not you? Why not now? These are all powerful questions that make you question the belief systems you've had in place. Sometimes, we get stuck in the status quo and get comfortable with what we have and where we are we stop questioning and challenging ourselves. This simple question gets you uncomfortable, makes you look at yourself, and begin trying on things that you never thoughts you could do.
In a culture where feeling bad/sad/angry/hurt is never encouraged, how do we know when it's not just appropriate, but CONSTRUCTIVE and ESSENTIAL, to feel these things?
In this podcast, I go into when it's appropriate to do mind work, to change your thinking, and thus changing your feeling. And when it's the time to sit and feel. To heal it, you have to feel it.
Have you ever tried to park your car in a garage that is full? Or in a parking lot that is full? And you want so badly to park your car there because it's close to an entrance and it's rainy outside? But, there is no space. So, no matter how badly you want to park your car there, you can't.
It's the same thing for the things you want in life. If your life is full, you can't bring anything new into it. If your life is full of things that aren't serving you, then what if those things that do try and come into your life? You won't have space for them, no matter how badly you want them.
This episode is about creating space, the importance of creating space, and how to check in and see if the things in your life are aligned with what you really want.
Do you feel out of alignment with your life? Our emotions are information to tell us where we are out of alignment. If we choose to look at them as guiding lights instead of judging them, we can get clear on how we want to feel, show up, and be. They will show us what areas of our lives we need to change.
In this podcast episode, you will get clear on your values and priorities so you can see where you are out of alignment in life.
We can't stand in our power and be a victim at the same time. It's one or the other. This podcast goes into my story of how I stepped from being a victim to stepping into my power. From being a victim of sexual abuse to being strong and helping woman all over the world stand in their power and realize their potential. If we choose to not carry a story around with us that holds us back and disempowers us, how high can we fly?
How are you contributing to your own suffering? What are you making, whatever happened to you, mean? How can you stand in your power?
