Living an inside/out life starts with intention, especially when it comes to connecting with yourself. In this episode I talk about how stepping outside without distractions helped me begin hearing my thoughts clearly for the first time. This practice started by accident and turned into one of the most impactful habits I have built for mindfulness and clarity. At first, the silence felt overwhelming. But over time the mental waves started to calm and I began to recognize my own voice again.

I share how this practice became part of the foundation for the YLF Framework and the YLF365 Experience. It is not about overhauling your entire day. It is about taking a few focused minutes to sit or walk outside, without music or phones, and just be present with whatever comes up. We also talk about how journaling and therapy help process those thoughts, and how positive self-statements build on this connection.

This approach is about more than fitness or weight loss. It is about learning to like who you see under the surface, and working through the stories and emotions you have carried for years. If you are ready to get back in touch with your thoughts and your truth, this is a simple place to start.

When you meet your own eyes in the mirror, do you search for flaws or practice respect? In this episode I share a one minute mirror routine that helps you replace years of self criticism with daily appreciation. We talk about how body standards and careless comments taught many of us to tear ourselves down, and why forgiving those old patterns is the first step toward building calm self trust.

You will learn to choose a single feature, speak kindness into it, and repeat until your reflection feels like an ally. At first the practice may feel awkward, yet with steady reps you will notice a shift when you catch a window reflection or see an unplanned photo. Instead of picking yourself apart, you will remind that older voice, no, this is how I view myself. The goal is simple. Leave the mental prison of harsh judgment and celebrate every stage you pass through, one minute at a time.

This conversation highlights why the inside/out approach feels fresh yet familiar. You keep the same workouts and food choices, yet the focus shifts to building calm confidence from within. I explain how you already show resilience and consistency every single day. When you choose to see those traits, you create a sturdy foundation that supports every goal ahead.

I share the story that first hooked me on coaching. New gym members used to shuffle in with their heads down. After a few weeks they stood taller and trusted themselves. Watching that transformation sparked my mission to help you find the same shift, whether you have been chasing fitness for two years or twenty.

Living with cerebral palsy and navigating the online fitness noise taught me that belief matters more than any plan. Fitness will be part of life for decades, so why not let it become the springboard for bigger dreams. When you take clear action and feel calm ownership, progress flows, and confidence grows far beyond the gym.

Email your thoughts, wins, or questions. I always enjoy hearing how the framework lands for you.

In this episode I wrap up our walk through the YLF Framework by digging into progress updates. I share why the scale is only one third of the story and explain how photos and a single waist measurement help you see real change without letting any one number boss you around. We talk about choosing a tracking rhythm that fits your mindset. Daily check-ins can make the numbers feel routine while monthly or quarterly sessions reveal bigger shifts. You will hear the tradeoff between removing emotion through frequent data collection and keeping the excitement that comes from longer gaps.

I also show you how the same approach applies beyond fitness. Whether you are learning meditation or building a professional skill you can journal your thoughts tag your entries and look back to see growth over weeks months or years. The goal is simple. Collect honest data remove the drama and let the trends guide your next move. If you need a customized way to measure a goal that feels blurry reach out and I will help you set it up.

I am walking you through my simple Sunday Wednesday Saturday rhythm that turns minimum daily actions into goals you can run through. On Sunday I set targets based on real life demands and momentum from the previous week. By Wednesday I treat the week like halftime. I check in with my energy, look at the road ahead, and decide whether to stay the course or make quick adjustments. Some weeks I only need a thumbs up. Other weeks I pivot and finish strong or give myself permission to lighten the load. On Saturday I review what happened, pull lessons, and roll them forward.

This loop builds self trust because the goals are mine. They match my capabilities, my schedule, and my willingness to act. It is also the backbone of the YLF Framework. Every podcast, blog post, and email fits inside that structure so you never feel lost in the noise. The Daily Email mirrors the loop. Sundays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays follow the exact prompts you hear here. The other four days deliver one self-paced resource, a journal prompt, and an activity so you can act right away.

I created this framework after years of habit coaching and seeing how much people struggle when content comes without structure. Health, fitness, mindset, and life plans all fit once you have a clear container. In the next episode we will dig into progress updates and why tracking still matters even when body composition is not the main focus. Let me know how your week is going at [email protected]. Thanks for listening. Talk to you soon.

I used to aim sky high and stall out the moment life got hectic. Everything shifted when I started naming a single minimum daily action and pegging my weekly goal just below my comfort zone. In this episode I walk you through that exact process. You will hear how four gym visits can power a five day routine, why an extra banana turns an average food log into a confidence boost, and how linking daily actions to flexible weekly targets trains you to exceed every goal you set.

I break down the Sunday map, the Wednesday midweek adjustment, and the Saturday look back that anchor the YLF Framework. This rhythm keeps you honest, shows trends over time, and proves that exceeding goals is simply what you do. We talk about meeting yourself where you are, choosing expectations you believe in, and skipping the romantic grind culture for a calm inside/out approach built on follow through.

When you see that stretch goals become just another item on the list you stop wrestling with motivation and start enjoying the boring magic of consistency. I would love to know the minimum daily action you are choosing. Email me at [email protected] and let me cheer you on.

    Episode Description

I am breaking down the simple move that turns goal chasing into goal smashing. It all starts with a minimum daily action. Pick a habit you want every day or most days, set the target just under your current capability, then watch yourself sail past it. Twenty minutes in the gym becomes easy, so you bump your minimum to thirty and keep rolling. The same approach works for meals, mindset and every layer of the inside/out YLF Framework.

You will hear why a short trial period reveals your real baseline, how stacking easy wins builds unstoppable momentum and why victories everywhere is more than a slogan. I explain how these minimum daily actions connect to weekly targets and preview the next episode where we track how often you exceed them. By the end you will feel confident setting goals that push you forward while still feeling doable every single day.

    Episode Description:

Confidence is not something you earn over time. It’s a choice you make. In this episode, I’m walking you through what it really means to decide to believe in yourself first and use your actions as reinforcement instead of proof. This subtle shift is powerful. Because if you're always chasing validation through outcomes or performance, you'll constantly feel like you're not enough... like you're faking it.

We’ve been told that if we act long enough, we’ll start to believe. But what if that belief came first? What if the moment you said “I trust myself” was actually the foundation, and everything else was just follow-through?

I share how this shift applies to fitness, weight loss, and any other part of life where you’re trying to build consistency and trust. This message connects directly to the “Always & Forever” collection, especially the Confident AF mindset. That confidence isn't something you earn. It's something you choose. And when you choose it, your actions reinforce that identity.

If this message hit home or helped you reframe something you’ve been stuck on, send me an email. I’d love to hear how this is landing with you.

    Episode Description:
You are resilient. You always have been. You always will be. In this episode of The Your Level Fitness Podcast, I’m kicking off a three-part series focused on the message behind Always & Forever—starting with resilience.

Resilience isn’t something you need to create from scratch. It’s already part of who you are. If you’re still showing up for yourself, even if it doesn’t feel like enough, that’s resilience. You’ve made it through tough seasons, setbacks, and doubt… and you’re still here. That’s worth recognizing.

I talk about why we often overlook our own ability to adapt, grow, and keep moving forward, especially when we’re focused on weight loss or fitness goals. This mindset shift can change how you approach your daily actions, your identity, and your life beyond health and fitness.

I’m also sharing a bit of the backstory behind the “Resilient AF” design, part of the Always & Forever Collection, and how that message has evolved with the YLF community over the years. This isn’t about hype. It’s about truth. You’re resilient—past, present, and future.

If you’ve struggled to give yourself credit for how far you’ve come, this episode is your reminder to pause and see your progress for what it is… a sign of your strength.
