In this episode of The Your Level Fitness Podcast, I walk you through the YLF Framework and how it helps you take tactical action toward your goals. Whether you’re working on fitness, personal development, or any kind of external program, this structure gives you a way to apply consistency and track real progress.

I explain how the framework started with weekly goals and progress tracking in health and fitness, and how it now fits into so many areas of life. If you're already using someone else's program but you're unsure how to apply it to your day-to-day life, the YLF Framework can help you bring structure to their process. Or, if you're navigating the endless downloads, checklists, and self-help resources on your own, this gives you a way to finally take action.

This episode is a reminder that while mindset and self-awareness are important, action is what brings results. And even though the inside/out work shapes how you approach things mentally, it's the action steps you take that build the long-term outcomes you want. I want you to get results. But I also want you to enjoy the process, feel proud of what you’re building, and know that what you’re doing is sustainable for life.

Thanks for listening. Let’s keep building together.

In this episode of The Your Level Fitness Podcast, I walk you through what the inside/out approach to fitness and life really means and why it's different from anything the mainstream fitness industry has shown us. I explain how you can start where you are, use the resources available, and build a forever active lifestyle that fits into your life instead of consuming it.

This episode is about more than just workouts and meal plans. It’s about creating a mindset that helps you feel like you are already enough, then reinforcing that belief through daily actions. I talk about the self-paced resources available through the YLF blog, daily emails, YouTube videos, the Q&A playlist, and more. These tools are designed to help you follow through at your own pace and build confidence without feeling pressured to do things a certain way.

You’ll also hear why I make my best resources available to everyone, not just my coaching clients. My goal is to help you make this work for you, whether you want to build your plan independently or get more guidance through one of the YLF coaching options. Either way, the tools and structure are here for you to build something sustainable.

In this episode of The Your Level Fitness Podcast, I’m walking you through what it means to lead with belief rather than waiting for results to define who you are. This is one of the core concepts behind the inside/out approach, and it’s completely different from what most of us have been taught.

Instead of hoping your actions will eventually make you feel like you belong, what if you decided who you are first and acted from that place? This shift changes everything. I explain why following through out of fear or a sense of lacking might have gotten you results, but it hasn’t led to lasting fulfillment. If you've ever achieved a goal but still felt stuck or empty afterward, this episode is going to speak directly to that experience.

You’ll hear how to build belief in yourself now, before the big win. You’ll learn how to break out of the mental prison of “not enough” and start reinforcing a new identity through your actions. I also talk about why choosing to be kind, supportive, and honest with yourself creates unstoppable momentum.

This is about building your life and your fitness journey from the inside/out. The goal isn’t to earn your worth. It’s to believe in it now, and let your actions match that belief.

    Episode Description:
If you’ve spent years on the weight loss roller coaster or have been chasing one fitness program after another, this episode of The Your Level Fitness Podcast is for you. I’m talking about what it really means to build a foundation that will support the rest of your journey... not just the next diet or workout cycle.

You’ve probably heard the phrase “make it a lifestyle” but no one really tells you how. That’s what we’re doing here. I walk you through the two key parts of this foundation. First, there’s no deadline. When you take pressure off the timeline, you can test things out and discover what truly works for you. Second, you learn how to live from the inside/out. You build your plan around your preferences, not someone else’s checklist.

When you do this, you’re not just following a plan, you’re creating your own active lifestyle. You’ll learn how to approach consistency as a skill you can develop. You’ll also become less tempted by short-term promises or trendy tactics that don’t actually work for your life.

This episode is a great reset if you’ve been stuck in the “start again” cycle. You’ve already tried a lot of things. You probably know what works for you and what doesn’t. You’re more capable than you realize. And it’s time to start building something that lasts.

    Episode Description:
In this episode of The Your Level Fitness Podcast, I’m laying out the foundation of what the inside/out approach actually is and why it might be the shift you’ve been needing. So many of us have spent years believing that if we just change our body, we’ll finally feel like we’re enough. But it turns out, starting with our mindset and building from within creates the lasting change we’re actually looking for.

I share how my personal experience growing up with cerebral palsy and my professional background in fitness and marketing helped me uncover the pressure most people carry from a lifetime of outside-in messaging. We’re told we have to change everything about ourselves before we can be accepted. That’s not the truth. In this episode, I’ll explain why appreciating who you are right now is not just a nice idea, it’s the key to building a sustainable lifestyle.

You’ll hear how we can reinforce self-acceptance over time, what really drives the actions we take, and how to make your day-to-day routines something you enjoy rather than something you push through. This is the foundation of everything we’ll cover in future episodes. If you’re ready to take ownership of your journey and build it around your preferences, you’re in the right place.

    Episode Description:
In this episode of The Your Level Fitness Podcast, I’m letting you in on some major updates. I’m tweaking the weekly podcast structure again to make room for deeper conversations and more meaningful messages. Instead of dedicating full episodes on Sunday, Wednesday, and Saturday to walking you through the YLF Framework, I’ll be weaving those reminders into each episode more naturally. The framework still matters, and it will continue to be a part of the daily email... but the podcast is evolving to help you take in more ideas, apply them, and live from an inside/out perspective.

You’ll also hear about the updated YLF30 Podcast series. Those episodes are being fully refreshed and re-recorded, and for the next month, you’ll get early access right here. Whether you’re new to the YLF message or just need a strong reset, this series is a great foundation. Starting tomorrow, you’ll get Episode 1 of the revised YLF30 right here in this feed.

And that’s not the only shift. The daily email now includes a journal prompt of the day and an activity of the day to help you take action with what you’re learning. I don’t want this content to just be something you hear. I want it to help you connect, grow, and take ownership of your health, fitness, and life. That’s what YLF is all about.

In this tactical episode of The Your Level Fitness Podcast, we’re diving into the Weekly Look Back part of the YLF Framework. I’m guiding you through the process of evaluating your minimum daily actions and weekly goals without judgment. Whether you had a week that flowed well or one that felt completely sideways, this practice is about observing, not criticizing.

If this week didn’t go how you planned, you’re not alone. Instead of beating yourself up, I want you to look at what happened, see what (if anything) you can learn, and recognize that sometimes… life just happens. And if you find yourself stuck in that “it is what it is” loop week after week, it might be time to revisit how you’re setting your goals. These goals should be within your control and achievable almost daily.

Once you build that foundation of success with manageable goals, you’ll be in a stronger position to pursue stretch goals and bigger milestones. So take a few moments to reflect, adjust if necessary, and get ready to plan for next week with confidence. And if your goals are already clear? Write them down. Let your mind chew on them in the background if needed. You know yourself best.

Thanks for being here and doing this work with me. Let’s keep moving forward.

In this episode of The Your Level Fitness Podcast, I talk about what it really means to embrace your body and your mindset from the inside/out. You’ll hear why it makes sense to stop comparing yourself to others and how learning to appreciate what you see in the mirror can transform your life. It sounds simple, but I get into the real reason why it’s so difficult… because of a lifetime of conditioning and emotional patterns that feel familiar, even if they weigh us down.

I also explain why choosing self-love isn’t just a feel-good mantra. It’s an intentional mindset shift. I cover how your environment, the weight loss industry, and your past can all pull you back into a space that feels familiar but isn’t helpful. And I share how the core daily actions I recommend can help you reinforce belief in yourself without spending all your energy forcing it.

This is about more than fitness goals. It’s about choosing to see yourself as enough while building habits that actually support who you want to become.

    Episode Description:

In this episode, I’m asking a tough but important question. What have you missed out on because of how you feel about your body? If you’ve ever skipped a photo, second-guessed a vacation meal, or obsessed over workouts instead of enjoying the moment, this conversation is for you. You didn’t just wake up disliking your body. You were taught to believe it wasn’t good enough. And you can unlearn that.

I break down how to reframe the way you see yourself in the mirror, how to build an eating plan around your preferences without guilt, and how to rebuild your relationship with food, movement, and your body using an inside/out approach. This is about more than fitness. This is about learning to like, love, and appreciate yourself exactly as you are while still making progress in the ways that matter most to you.
