* Teenagers are really no different from twenty to fifty years ago. People are people and the Word of God is timeless and spans all ages and generations.

* Understand your primary philosophy for working with teens.  The way believers grow as Christians are the same way which teens need to grow in the Lord.

* The young people in your church today will be the leaders of your church tomorrow; so invest yourselves in them completely.

* When you look for a person to lead your youth, the primary focus should be character.

* It is much better to be respected when working with teens than simply being liked or admired.

* Entertainment will only keep teens attending temporarily.
