  • Bunnyman Stories
After a series of rabbit synchronicities, we decided it was time to talk Bunnyman. A new furry friend appears on a nighttime walk; Alison brings up Echo and the Bunnymen again; and we explore some rabbit archetypes. Erin tells the story of a giant Bunnyman seen in her childhood home - is it connected to alien abductions? Finally, Jon checks in with stories of a creepy roadside Bunnyman and some other strange people.

  • A Strange Day on White Rocks Trail
Timothy accompanies Chad on a hike along White Rocks Trail as they retrace the steps of a hike Chad and a friend made in 2014. Chad tells the story of that strange day as we make our way along the White Rocks Trail to Center Point Knob, where it meets the Appalachian Trail. Chad's  tale starts with a burning tree, struck by lightning the night before. Things only got weirder from there. Waiting for the firemen to arrive, Chad's friend saw a large creature he could not identify, walking up the mountainside. Whatever it was, frightened his friend enough to send him running back down the mountain. They proceeded with their hike and, later that day, encountered something which roared at them, loudly and ferociously. Chad relates that the howling roar carried with it a feeling of malevolence.

  • Something Lifted the Car
Timothy talks with Jeff who shares some compelling stories of weird encounters. Jeff tells about a harrowing night of fishing with his father where frightening sounds and heavy footfalls issued from the dark woods around them. Was it ghosts? Bigfoot? Both? Jeff then relates more tales including UFO sightings, some green-eyed nighttime invaders, and a mind-blowing tale of something which lifted his parents' car one night.

  • Flannel Man: More than a Ghost
Episode 90: The Flannel Men (and women!) come back to Strange Familiars. Timothy and Alison present a hint that there could be something supernatural to buffalo plaid itself. We read stories of Flannel Man from listeners; another story connecting Flannel Man to black dogs; Flannel Man stepping out of dreams and into bedrooms; and suggestions that these plaid-clad entities are far more than just ghosts - sometimes even harbingers of death or perhaps even the Grim Reaper himself. We also talk to several Flannel Man witnesses: including Kristina who was given a precognitive dream of a shooting event after seeing Flannel Man; Luke, who saw a series of strange symbols followed by a Flannel Man; Doug who saw a Flannel-wearing woman in his haunted apartment; and Felix who had multiple Flannel Man sightings of her own.

  • The Eyes of Bigfoot
Timothy has a long talk with Jeremy who tells about some very strange bigfoot eyeglow he has been seeing in the Texas woods - which sound a lot like the lights we have been seeing at Site 7. Jeremy also relates stories of a troop of ghosts he saw while hog hunting, orbs hovering in the trees, and some other bigfoot encounters.

  • They Called Him Plaid
Episode 88: We welcome Christian to the show who talks about a strange man that was seen multiple times in the woods and fields beside the home of a friend from his youth. They described the man as a "lumberjack" and named him Plaid. Was he a Flannel Man? Christian also tells us some east Texas history and talks about his documentary film, Sunken Silver...and relates a bizarre bigfoot story.

  • Wrestling With Intimacy
In this episode, we debate the use of Intimacy Design in the rehearsal process, which works to assist with the choreography of intimate or emotionally sensitive moments on stage. It doesn't take long for the team to go to the mat over this unique trend in American theater.
