A profound exchange with author and poet extraordinaire Theo Wilson. The inner beauty of this man's soul shines through here as we deal with a wide spectrum of topics from race to depression, trauma to poetry. A must listen that will change who you are inside.  We also discuss his fabulous new Speaker's Program.

Theo Wilson, is a founding member of the Denver Slam Nuba team, who won the National Poetry Slam in 2011. He began his speaking career in the N.A.A.C.P. at the age of 15, and has always had a passion for social justice. He attended Florida A&M University, where he obtained his B.A. in Theater Performance. He returned to Denver and is now the Executive Director of Shop Talk Live, inc. The organization uses the barber shop as a staging ground for community dialogue and healing.

After viral video success beginning in 2015, Theo grew his social media following to well over 68,000 people. Due to audience demand, he published his first book in 2017, The Law of Action. The book addresses some of the misconceptions about the law of attraction, and the role direct action plays into manifestation. In 2017, his TED Talk entitled, “A Black Man Goes Undercover in the Alt Right,” was seen world wide, amassing a total of over 12 million views. He has been featured on BuzzFeed, CNN, Good Day Canada, and TV One.
Theo Wilson’s Message for the World
“There is an agenda of the Universe for Humanity. And it looks like a reconnecting of all of the things that we have lost in these games that we play with each other. And we need to reconnect with the fact that the wisdom of a round planet cannot choose sides. We are in this together, and there's some hard choices that this moment is bringing before us.

And the choices that lead to not only socially unifying, but creating systems that actually habituate justice, that's what we're being asked to do. And if we don't do it, there's a lot more pain and suffering ahead of us, because we're too wise now. We know too much...your own inner self won’t forget that you know better than this. And the quicker that we act to not only build a social, but a systemic paradigm; that mechanizes justice. Not for just human beings, but also the planet, so that we get to some new problems. These old ones are whack.”
