A couple years ago I came across this book and wrote a review on it. I opted to review it again for the podcast. With six chapters, by six different writers, the book does a masteful job of defending Jesus as the second person of the Trinity. It does so using scripture, early church writings, and philosophy.

Jesus reprimands the disciples for thinking the leaven that he mentions with the Pharisees and Sadducees is because they didn't bring any bread. They miss the point that a small amount of evil can corrupt a whole group.

Jesus tells the disciples to beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees. The disciples ask if this is because they didn't bring any bread.

Jesus says an evil generation wnts a sign, and the only sign they will get is the sign of Jonah.

After all the miracles and healings that Jesus has done the Pharisees and Sadducees still demand a sign. It is also the same with many today.

The end of chapter 15 shows Jesus feeding the 4,000. The number seven is important as it signified the gentiles being grafted into the fulness of Israel.

In this week's show I give my thoughts on the Pennsylvania Grand Jury report that broke this week. I also go over a couple do's and don'ts in regards to this situation. In any regard it is time to wipe out this cancer.

Today we see the beginning of Jesus feeding the 4,000 which is a separate event from the 5,000, and marks Jesus's expanded ministry to the gentiles.

Jesus went to a mountain an a crowd came to him and he healed all their ailments. In a similar way he heals our souls.

Jesus came to spread the message of the Gospel to everyone, but to Israel first. Today we see him heal a gentile woman because of her faith.
