Welcome back to another episode of Locked on Seminoles, your favorite daily Florida State Seminoles sports podcast! Drake and Dave begin the way-too-early talk with a game-by-game mini-preview of each game, to arrive at a season win total (hint: we’re talking playoffs)!

With a 10-win season under their belt, a boatload of elite talent returning—including a Heisman-contender at QB with Jordan Travis, an elite RB in Trey Benson, a stable of proven playmakers at WR, an improved and still improving offensive line, a defensive line anchored by veteran leaders in Jared Verse and Fabian Lovett, a vastly improved LB corps with Tatum Bethune and Kalen Deloach, and a DB room filled with talent and now under the tutelage of coach Pat Surtain—and a bounty of additional elite talent pouring in through the transfer portal, the 2023 season appears poised to be a win-now, money-year for Florida State football. 

With a real chance to regain the ACC crown and make their second appearance in the College Football Playoff in 2023, the Seminoles’ season will of course come down to how well they can navigate their schedule. So that’s exactly what Drake and Dave do in today’s episode, briefly previewing and predicting a win or loss for each game on the schedule.
