Formulas and skincare played an instrumental role in Thérèse M’Boungoubaya's family dynamic. Her mother often blended natural and African-rooted ingredients to make at-home treatments, and her father worked as a Pharmacist in France. Her interest in beauty deepened, inspiring and influencing her career trajectory working in Digital Marketing and eCommerce for the likes of L’Oréal, Clarins and Sarah Chapman.

With over 10 years experience working with some of the best in the business, and after successfully selling her first start-up to Joliebox (who was then acquired by Birchbox), Thérèse noticed a gap in the market for an all encompassing product that targeted her key skincare concerns: cracked heels and dry feet. Foot care has, for far too long, been an overlooked and rarely discussed category in the in the skin and beauty sphere.
