This week the guys are joined by AFL journalist, stats guru and all-round legend Gemma Bastiani.

Brandon and Alex basque in the glory of our final watch party and trivia event of 2024 at the Henson park Hotel and review/commiserate the game against the Dockers.

Gemma then walks the boys through her journey to the AFL media and Brandon is blown away by the most comprehensive break down of AFLW tactics he's ever heard.

Brandon has returned from his sojourn to Melbourne and is back to talk  all things AFLW. Both Alex and Brandon were super impressed with the effort shown by the Giants this past weekend, in what was Brandon''s favorite W game of the year so far.

The guys then address the elephant in the room and reflect on the Wacky Wednesday controversy.

Alex then gives Brandon the history of the McClelland Trophy (is he a long lost relative of Brandon's?) as well as discussing how the Giants emerged from trade week.

Brandon is in Melbourne shooting a film and unfortunately we had a rather catastrophic technical issue trying to record remotely. As a result Producer Sam joins Alex in Brandon's stead for a last minute recording.

Sam and Alex review the loss to Adelaide in the W and then analyse how they think both the Giants and Eagles have fared during the trade period (spoiler, Producer Sam is not happy).

Brandon has returned from his tropical island sojourn so he and Alex indulge in some schadenfreude over the Swans dismal showing in the Grand Final. 

The boys went down to Henson Park to watch the Giants vs the Eagles in the W, which left Producer Sam very happy. Alex then leads Brandon through the incredible story of the current West Coast W coach, Daisy Pearce.

The boys commiserate the devastating straight sets exit and the end of the Giants 2024 campaign.

Alex also reads some excerpts from the extraordinary book Never Surrender by Georgina Hibberd who was given unprecedented access to the players and Club during their 2020 season. The book provides the "raw and uncompromising story not just of the Greater Western Sydney Giants, but of the AFL Women's competition in Australia."

After the devastating loss against Sydney in the first qualifying final, The Giants live to fight another day against last year's Grand Finalist Brisbane at Engie Stadium.

The boys analyze the extraordinary game and look towards what they hope will be another riveting contest at Engie on Saturday night.

In honor of the Giants latest AFLW Irish recruit Eilish O'Dowd, Alex gives Brandon the run down on the absolute legend that is Cora Staunton. Her career is so extraordinary that is has to be listened to, to be believed.

Alex may well be in the South West of WA for work and while it will stop him from attending the game on Saturday, it sure as hell won't stop him recording this podcast!

Brandon and Alex get excited about the prospect of knocking Sydney down a peg on their home turf and keeping our perfect record in finals against them in tact.

Alex continues regaling the rich history of the AFLW and somehow Producer Sam (a West Coast supporter of all things) is the only member of the trio attending the qualifying final. The world works in mysterious ways.
