They Might Become Giants

The boys are excited as anything for the upcoming elimination final against Hawthorn at the home of football, Engie Stadium. However, Alex can't help a lingering feeling that 5 potential changes might be too many...Time will tell.

Joins us at The Silverwater Hotel from 12pm to hype yourselves up for the game with fellow Giants fans. There will be a pizza and drink deal as well as buses from the venue direct to Engie Stadium.

Alex chats to long time friend of the podcast Bart Welch about the trials and (mostly) tribulations of being a long suffering Saints fan. At least Nas re-signed!

Alex then tells the tale of how AFL nearly took off in New Zealand.

Alex and Brandon are happy with the victory over North in Canberra, but can't shake the fact that there are still nine teams vying for eight finals spots with only two rounds remaining.

Alex talks Brandon through the little know NRL draft experiment in the early 90's, which Brandon surprisingly knows very little about.

This expansion cup game against Gold Coast is the biggest one yet and its simply must win for the Giants.

Join us for our annual Giants formal for our last home and away season watch party at The Guildford Hotel this Saturday from midday. A HUGE prize will be up for grabs to the victor of Giants trivia, which will be run by Alex at half time.

The boys are shell shocked after the absolute smashing at the hands of the Bulldogs, but are happy to be facing the Kangaroos down at our home away from home, Manuka Oval in Canberra.

To commemorate the occasion Alex tells Brandon the tale of 'The Shinboner of the Century' Glenn Archer.

Brandon an Alex revel in the fact the Giants have ended the Swans season by their own hand. However, now their other eternal rival awaits at Marvel Stadium in the Bulldogs and the Giants will be without some key players for the pivotal clash.

To commemorate the occasion Alex tells the tale of (arguably) the greatest ever bulldog, EJ "Ted" Whitten or Mr Football himself.

Join us on Thursday night at The Guildford Hotel  against those dastardly Bulldogs

After a strong Giants win and another successful TMBG Watch Party, Alex takes Brandon back to school, and back in time, to the 'halcyon' days of University.

They also look forward to this Friday's all-important home derby against the Sydney/South Melbourne Swans.

Given it's a Thursday night game this week, we're releasing a little bit earlier than usual!

Alex and Brandon are elated with the true arrival of Aaron Cadman and the win over Geelong. Corsages were in abundance and Jeremy Cameron did nothing, so it's a good wee to be a Giants fan, with the injury decimated Bombers awaiting.

Alex the tells the story of the first Australian to trial out  for the NFL Des "The Kangaroo Kid" Ley, who could allegedly kick a ball over 90 yards, whether that's true or not is the real question.

Join us on Thursday night at The Guildford Hotel  game against Essendon.

Alex and Brandon celebrate the Giants crushing victory over Producer Sam's hapless Eagles as the Giants charge back into the 8.

Given the Giants face the ever-present Geelong this weekend, Alex tells Brandon the story of the Giant who's departure still hurts to this day. While the Giants have lost many over the journey, this one was particularly hard for Alex to accept. This is the story of Jeremy Cameron.

The lads are back from their bye week and are ready to take on The West Coast Eagles in some (rare) Friday night Footy!

Producer Sam regales his history of the West Coast Eagles and takes the guys back through the crazy days of 2001-2008.
