Growing up on the island of Kauai, life was both beautiful & a bit scarce & with no formal schooling until a later age. Now, life is much different for Kat in a way that she built for herself, still beautiful, still simple & 100% authentic.

You know the people you meet & just know they are your people?? My guest this week is Josh Dairen. We met at a paranormal event, I was photographing the event & Josh was one of the guest speakers. His experience in the paranormal stemmed from experiences as a child & an adult but it wasn't until a little human came into his life that he would turn his passions into his reality.

Josh is a historical paranormal researcher who tells stories that may otherwise be lost to time or even worse, misrepresented. Are you ready for your face to hurt from smiling so much? Meet Leah, she is a super talented human who specializes in small batch woodworking yet has worn many hats in her life. She owned a bar in Ithaca New York for 11 years called Felicias Atomic Lounge which was brainstormed during an 8 hour road trip to Maine & brought to fruition 10 days later.  She is a breast cancer survivor, she is a human who has gone through some stuff....the stories go on & on. I could listen to Leah all day as her joy for life & purpose is a beacon I hope to keep in my sight.
