In episode 73 of the Think Courageously Podcast, I talk with Andrea Rizvi!
This successful Australian women's career path has been far from linear! Andrea was climbing the proverbial corporate ladder when her bite sized pivots started.
A growing family and a traditional corporate path led Andrea to redefine success. In pursuit of this, she tarted Boomerang BitesTM in 2018! An artisanal bakery that specializes in bite-sized sweet baked Australian goods. Their mission: Be Good. Do Good, where they donate 20% of their profits to charities focusing in the education sector.
During my time with Andrea we discuss:
-bite sized pivots
-redefining joy
-the identity struggle
-judgement from others
-leaning into discomfort
-permission to fail
Andrea says,
"The reality is that the giving back is actually what brings joy. That's why I called it Boomerang Bites because you send out goodness and it comes right back. Too often we get wrapped up in the giving back because it's the right thing to do rather than giving back because it's the joyful thing to do."

-doing the hard inner work
-embracing the divine
-pushing the reset button
-refusing to settle
And most importantly: embracing your magnificence! Fabienne says,
"I want you to chase joy, chase fulfillment, chase authentic expression, chase love, chase gratitude, chase exultation!"

In 2010, Jess decided to become a traveling physical therapist. This pivot gave her financial freedom, career opportunities, and the ability to explore!
But that was not her last pivot! In 2016, Jess created her business, WanderlustPTs. Since then, she has mentored thousands of aspiring traveling physical therapists. Her goal is to help them build a career and a life they love!

Meet Diann Wingert. Three marriages, three kids, and 20 years of being a licensed psychotherapist led her to a huge career pivot. In her 50s, Diann started her own coaching business! Her goal: help shift women's mindset from problems to possibilities.
On today's episode of the Think Courageously Podcast, Diann shares her powerful story about being adopted into an abusive and unpredictable household. It was during this time that she learned to be resilient and courageous.
We will explore:
-the term "reinvention"
-embracing fear
-growth and decay
-aligning with your values
-career pivots
Diann shares her view on fear:
"I don't see fear as a good enough reason to not do something because here's the reality. If you are in a marriage, in a job, in a friend circle, in a location that you are not happy with, you either need to find a way to get happy with it. Or you need to find a way to face your fear and do something about it. The only other option is stagnation."

The Think Courageously Podcast is BACK!! And today, I am talking about...
Jenga… a game described by Wikipedia as an activity where you remove one block at a time from a tower constructed of 54 blocks. Each block removed is then placed on top of the tower, creating a progressively more unstable structure.
I’ve often referred to my neck as a game of Jenga.
In this episode of the podcast I share my personal story around courage and pain.
On July 7th, I underwent major surgery to get the tower straightened up. Four procedures in one. My doctor told me that this would be a 10 out of 10 surgery in regards to the procedure and the recovery. And it has been…
I’ll share with you how this journey has amplified every lesson that I’ve learned about Thinking Courageously. From practicing gratitude, to receiving support, to the power of community and trusting my intuition, you will hear the good, bad and ugly about this incredible chapter of my life.
I talk about the tools I’m using to move forward with ease and grace while I trust the healing process.
