Regeneration, justification, sanctification and redemption are the 4 ways in which the Lord handled the sin problem.

He changed our hearts and took us from death to life - regeneration

He freed us from the guilt of sin and its penalty - justification

He purified and cleaned us and asked us to walk in holiness as a war for our souls by coming to the throne of grace - sanctification

We will be caught up in glory one day; never to deal with the pangs of sin ever again - glorification

Akin to the series on the facets of our salvation; this teaching reminds us about what Christ actually came to do. From the words of Mary to the song of Elizabeth. From the prophecies of the prophets to the writers of the 4 gospels, the theme is consistent. Christ came to redeem a lost humanity and reconnect us to the King of Kings

Most worthy of note is the idea that Jesus died for health and wealth. Brother Sam again shows us from the scripture what Christ's work is

Taking each verse and expatiating on key Christian topics, Brother Sam reminds us that there is suffering in this world.

If the Bible has promised us anything, it’s that the Christian will have trials and tribulations

But in spite of them; we have a good shepherd

“The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing”

Regardless of the degree of difficulty we experience, perhaps even death, we can boldly say “the Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing”

Brother Seye Maj' in this bible study helps us to learn from Apostle Paul's letter to the Corinthians on spiritual gifts, in desiring them and their use in the local assembly

In the concluding part of this series, Brother Sam caps off the works of Satan by showing us how the Lord Jesus has given us means of grace and His sacraments as ways of increasing our awareness of God and becoming wiser in dealing with the wiles of the devil.

We see what it means to love the Lord with all our heart, soul, might and strength.

We also see that to love God is an active engagement expressed by our continuous obedience to His instructions.

We see that such love as commanded is inspired by the conviction that leads to observable actions.

We don't love the Lord in actions alone, but by heartfelt convictions that breed actions.

he expands on the theme of suffering and pleasure from the bible and our contemporary world.

Satan's goal is not poverty or riches but separating man from God. Like Job, if abundance does not do the trick; perhaps pain, suffering and disease will do it. "Curse God and Die" Job was told.

if immense suffering will separate you from God, then satan will make you suffer. If abundance will disconnect you from God, then satan will maximise your comfort.

His ultimate aim is to get men to turn their backs on God.
