Recognizing 30 years of dedication, the National Weather Service has named Margaret Bowman of Coalville a 2017 recipient of the John Campanius Holm Award for outstanding service as a weather observer. This award is one of the agency’s most prestigious; a maximum of 25 are granted each year to deserving weather observers throughout the country. Margaret Bowman and Lisa Verzella, observations program leader with the weather service, join Chris and Nell in the second half of the program.
