Dominique and Zoë chat about skincare, beauty standards, doing less (a favorite theme, here) and favorite products, of course! Hear about the best beauty, skincare, and wellness we picked up in 2022, and what we’re taking into the new year.
[PS, you can find Dominique's Well+Good reporting here! follow Zoë on Instagram and TikTok @zoeweinerrr)

From French pharmacy haul must-haves to Dominique’s extremely unrealistic personal wishlist, your unfathomably niche holiday shopping guide has arrived!
Since Dominique considers herself a tiny white Oprah, she did a Dominique’s Favorite Things 2022, which ended up being a lot of skincare, travel, perfume, and some random things you might want for your house/life (*gestures broadly at everything*).
Your shopping list/episode companion can be found here, under the super neglected transcripts tab of our website. Happy holidays!

Ah, hormones. It’s a complicated, complex, and often overwhelming topic, but hormones impact every second of our lives. Want to learn more? You’re in luck! Today, we’ve got a guide — board-certified OB/GYN Catharine Marshall, MD, from La Jolla, CA (the Shangri-La of healthcare) — to walk us through women’s hormones, specifically. Estrogen, insulin, progesterone, testosterone, LH, FSH, and so much more. Did you know there are over 50 hormones in your body? Now you do.
Today, you can get versed in what’s going on in your body and pick up some medical vocab (yay for health literacy!) so you can have better appointments with your doctor and take agency over your health. Feeling hormonal? Let’s get into it.

Welcome back to our October series, Take Better Care of Yourself Month! (This is also the second episode of our Validate Me Harder Daddy collection)
Today: since when did self care become an over-the-top, overwhelming, expensive thing?
Dominique brings in her longtime friend-slash-manager Zan to talk about the wellness industry, and how health routines and self care became too stressful. If your routine is feeling frustrating, and self care is becoming more overwhelming than relaxing, you’re not alone. They talk about “doing the most,” self care vs. self soothing, fears around our health, and ideas for recalibrating (ie, how to not let self care become self SABOTAGE). Let’s talk about what to do when self care isn't working. PREPARE FOR VALIDATION!

How’s your relationship with social media? Even if you follow wellness influencers or are exclusively on HealthTok on your FYP, your relationship to these feeds might not be healthy.
Kevin Curry from the nutrition empire-slash-community @fitmencook — the OG health influencer — joins us for a thought-provoking conversation about the current state of the wellness industry and online community, algorithms and viral content, and how social media platforms are influencing (not always for the better!) the direction of health and wellness content. Kevin peels back the curtain and gives advice on how to identify extremes, check in with yourself, personalize your wellness journey, and navigate the current landscape in the healthiest way possible.
