Welcome back to This Is For Us! In today’s highly anticipated episode, we’re diving into the minds of men in their 30s. After countless requests, I’ve brought together a group of some of the most handsome, successful, funny, and fun guys to sit down and share their thoughts on dating, marriage, and life as a 30-something.
From societal pressures to the evolution of relationships, we’re covering it all—including juicy topics like what they notice first about a woman, their thoughts on confidence versus cockiness, and how they approach finding “the one.” Whether you’re single, dating, or just curious, this episode is packed with insights and laughter that will have you rethinking everything you thought you knew about modern relationships.
Grab your drink, settle in, and let’s get raw and real.
HIGHLIGHTS
The “30s Pressure”: Society may call you a dinosaur, but these guys feel like their 30s are just the beginning. From clarity of mind to more financial stability, they agree life only gets better.
Dating Goals: How their approach to relationships has shifted from “going with the flow” in their 20s to seeking substance, values, and long-term compatibility in their 30s.
Why They’re Single: Raw answers about prioritizing personal growth, career goals, and the importance of being ready before committing to someone else.
First Impressions: What really catches their attention—spoiler: it’s more about confidence and how you carry yourself than what you’re wearing.
Physical Appearance vs. Personality: The surprising balance these men seek and how a great conversation can make someone even more attractive.
Where to Meet High-Quality Men: Tailgates, church, mutual friends, and yes, sometimes even bars—how location sets the tone for connection.
QUOTE FROM THE EPISODE
"At the end of the day, it’s not about what you’re wearing or how expensive your bag is—it’s about how you carry yourself and how you make others feel."

Welcome back to another episode of This Is For Us! Today, I’m diving into Part Two of the This Is For Us Turns One birthday celebration! Last time, I shared the highlights and unexpected moments leading up to our amazing event. Today, it’s all about the takeaways—the memorable moments, reflections, and life lessons from a night filled with joy, courage, and community.
And a special shoutout for those of you listening on 11/11! This magical date reminds us to dream big, manifest abundance, and trust that everything is aligning perfectly. Here’s to making this year and the next the best yet!
HIGHLIGHTS
1. The Power of Togetherness Seeing so many women come with friends, sisters, or moms made me realize how This Is For Us is not just a podcast—it’s a place for community and connection. I’m grateful to have created a space that brings people together to laugh, share, and celebrate life’s wins.
2. We’re All in This Together As women, we all share that feeling of self-doubt, insecurity, or worry about not fitting in. Watching everyone enjoy themselves made me realize how similar we are and reminded me that we're never alone in how we feel.
3. Showing Up Alone Is a Bold Move I was in awe of those who walked in alone. It takes so much courage to step into a room where you don’t know anyone. This night was all about feeling welcomed, loved, and truly celebrated, no matter how we arrived.
4. Celebrating All Ages, Stages, and Styles From sequins to jeans, I was thrilled to see everyone embracing their unique style and rocking what made them feel amazing. This party was a celebration of authenticity and showing up exactly as you are.
5. Small Choices, Big Impact For those who took a little extra step—putting on a pair of lashes or going bold with an outfit choice—you could see the confidence glow! Sometimes, it’s the little things that help us step into our power.
6. Breaking the Age Barrier Women of all ages gathered, and it made me realize age is just a number. Let’s keep lifting each other up, regardless of where we are in life, and see each other as allies and inspirations.
7. There’s Always a Way When there’s a vision and a dream, there’s always a way to make it happen—even if it means pivoting, finding new solutions, or leaning on others. This party was a testament to perseverance, support, and unwavering belief in what This Is For Us can be.

In today’s episode, I’m giving you all the behind-the-scenes details from our This Is For Us birthday celebration! Although the party looked beautiful and went off as a dream, there was a whole journey (with a few tears, laughs, and last-minute saves!) to make it all happen. From my mom’s unexpected health scare to the near-catastrophes with decorations and a missing cake, it’s a reminder that the most beautiful things often have chaotic beginnings.
So, whether you were able to attend or are just joining me today, I wanted to let you in on what really went down and why it was all worth it. Thank you all for being part of this journey—you mean the world to me!
HIGHLIGHTS:The Venue Hunt Planning the party didn’t come without obstacles, and finding the right venue was one of the first challenges. Just when it felt impossible, we found Lindsay at Sharp Social, who went above and beyond to make it perfect. Sometimes, rejection really is just a redirection!
Unexpected Challenges & Emotional Moments The week of the party was an emotional rollercoaster. My mom, who I always rely on for her incredible support, became very sick. Balancing her needs and party prep was difficult and grounding, but it reminded me of the power of showing up for the ones we love.
A Last-Minute Dress Dilemma What’s a party without an outfit crisis? My original dress didn’t work, so the night before, I found myself frantically cutting and sewing with the help of my amazing friends. Sometimes, the imperfect solutions make for the best memories!
The Sweatshirts & Knowing Your Worth I poured my heart into designing the This Is For Us sweatshirts, wanting them to be meaningful and high-quality. It was a leap of faith, but you all showed up and proved that we’re worth investing in ourselves and each other. Thank you!
The Party Team A big thank you to my friends, family, and everyone who showed up early to help me make the party a reality. From DIY decorations to solving last-minute issues, I couldn’t have done it without you!

Thank you again for joining me on this journey! Stay tuned for Part Two next week, where I’ll dive into more reflections and the lessons I took away from this incredible event.
Welcome to the grand finale of The Best of This Is For Us series! In this final episode of our anniversary celebration, I reflect on the most powerful topics that shaped this podcast over the past year. It’s been a transformative journey, and I’m wrapping up with lessons on trusting yourself, embracing rejection as protection, romanticizing life, and stepping into your bad bitch energy (BBE).
If you’ve missed parts one, two, or three, be sure to check them out. And as always, thank you for spending your time with me—your support means the world. Let’s dive in!
HIGHLIGHTS:Trust Yourself: If you have a dream, you have the ability to see it through. Don’t let self-doubt or outside opinions hold you back. Your intuition knows the way—lean into it and trust yourself fully.
Rejection Equals Protection: Every closed door leads to something better. Shift your mindset: rejection is not a setback but a redirection toward the things meant for you.
Romanticize Your Life: Embrace the “I get to” mindset. Find the magic in everyday moments and cherish even the small, mundane tasks—they won’t always be there. Life is more beautiful when we see it as a gift.
You Can’t Hate Yourself into a Version You Love: Self-criticism won’t bring happiness or change. Learn to love yourself at every stage—growth comes from kindness, not self-punishment.
BBE (Bad Bitch Energy): No one else can be you. Step into your power, own your uniqueness, and live with main character energy every day. You are the only one who can live your life the way you do—embrace it unapologetically.

Welcome back to This Is For Us! We’re diving into part three of the best moments from the last year, covering topics that have defined our journey together. As we celebrate the podcast’s first birthday, I’m taking you through numbers 11 to 15—some of my most personal and impactful topics.
In this episode, we talk about recognizing toxic people (bye, mean girls!), tossing out the rotten fruit in your life, and learning to stop comparing yourself to others. Plus, I remind you why it’s so important to wear the freaking bikini (or dress) and show up for yourself, no matter what the voice in the back of your mind says.
HIGHLIGHTS:
No More Mean Girls: Recognize toxic friendships, set boundaries, and say goodbye to negative influences—because peace is better than popularity.
Rotten Fruit Syndrome: Surround yourself with positive people—negative energy spreads like mold. Protect your vibe and let your light shine.
Comparison is the Thief of Joy: Social media is a highlight reel. Focus on watering your own grass rather than envying someone else’s life.
The Pressure to Be Everything to Everyone: You can’t be 100% at every role—give yourself grace. We’re all trying to wear every hat the best we can.
Wear the Freaking Bikini: Stop waiting for the “perfect” body or moment. Life is happening now—wear the dress, put on the bikini, and show up with confidence.
