Hey y’all, welcome back to This Is For Us!
Today we’re talking about something I know we all carry around: guilt. And honestly? Most of us are lugging it around like an overstuffed purse we refuse to put down. Mom guilt, friend guilt, work guilt, body guilt, daughter guilt—the list goes on.
This week I found myself right in the middle of it as I cared for my mom after her surgery. Even while I was showing up fully, I felt guilty for needing a break, guilty for missing other responsibilities, guilty for just being human. And it hit me: guilt doesn’t make us better women, moms, friends, or daughters. It just makes us tired, resentful, and less able to show up as our true selves.
🎧 In this episode, we’ll talk about:
✔️ Why guilt is the heaviest “purse” we carry
✔️ How much of our guilt comes from made-up expectations
✔️ Why rest and breaks actually make us better for others
✔️ How to set the purse down and reclaim your peace
✔️ A reminder that you’re already doing more than enough
This is your permission slip to stop apologizing for being human, to breathe, and to remind yourself: you are incredible, and the people in your life are lucky to have you.

💌 Reminder:
Guilt doesn’t make you worthy. You already are. Put the purse down, take your breath, and show up as the best version of you.
Until next time, go be brave. 💗
