On this episode I chatted with Major General Rita Aragon about her journey serving our country. Major General Aragon served as the first female General Officer, first female commander of the Oklahoma Air National Guard, and first woman in the United States to command a state’s Air National Guard. Starting out as a school teacher, she decided to join the National Guard to earn extra income. Her teaching skills proved to be her best asset as she climbed the military ranks and eventually served full time.
