On this episode I chatted with David about the wonderful celebration of Route 66.

The story of the American West is, at its heart, a story about movement. Folks moving across a wide, wild stretch of land—different people, cultures, and communities all heading west for their own reasons. Over time, the push westward became less about wandering and more about building—building ways to get people and goods from here to there. And at the center of all that movement? The roads, rivers, rails, and trails that carved their way through this rugged land.

Erin Oldfield joined the Oklahoma City Thunder in November 2017 and takes immense pride in the Thunder’s community initiatives that impact thousands of Oklahomans every year. With a $600 loan and an idea to make miniature picture frames, David Green founded what is now Hobby Lobby. From its modest beginning, the company now totals over 1,000 stores. David serves as chairman of the affiliate companies, the CEO of Hobby Lobby and a merchandise buyer.

David and his wife Barbara, are the proud parents of two sons and one daughter.
