I hope you're all well, positive & smashing your goals for the day!
Today's episode is rather different most obviously because there's no guest today, I know, devastating right - you'll have to endure my voice for half an hour haha!
I feel like it's a good time to generally talk about the direction and vision for the podcast alongside how it came about in the first place in the context of what was one hell of a personal health journey this last year.
November 2021 right until early March 2022 was an extremely low period in my life. Those months I wish to never ever experience again and I am confident I will never go back there.
I am now in such a good place and I am so grateful to my parents, family, friends, the people I befriend when going about everyday errands & interactions alongside you guys as listeners for genuinely making me so happy - thank you!
It took alot for me to publish this episode today as this story is still rather recent but it feels like it's the right time to touch upon what was such a dark period but also such an important part of understanding my story and how it did in fact play a big part in the podcast's creation - every cloud does indeed had a silver lining ;)
I really hope you enjoy this episode and learn something new, whether it be about the podcast itself, depression or the fact that you are not alone if you're struggling.
Trust me, I know the feeling of emptiness & genuinely feeling that you'll be stuck like that for the rest of your life.
Trust me, please, from the bottom of my heart believe me when I say YOU WILL GET THROUGH THIS & life will get better. Life will get better. Everything truly is temporary, including your emotions.
As always, please do reach out to me on @thisisnotthedariashow on TikTok & Insta, email [email protected] or if you want to be more personal and potentially become friends, I do love meeting new people ;) insta dm me on @dariasefre :))
I do hope some of you will be able to resonate with how I felt a few months ago now, realise that you are not alone and most importantly that everything truly is not what it seems and that life does get so much better. Those people who you think have "perfect lives" trust me, they do not. Everyone and I mean everyone is human and therefore struggles are just a part of life.
Thank you so so much for your continued support on this project. Literally all the TikTok & Podcast views, Insta likes and the kind, super enthusiastic and supportive messages you are send to me literally mean the world. Thank you.
Please do message me if you're passionate and have some knowledge on a topic and would like to talk about it on the podcast - as mentioned, I love to make new friends so I'd love to hear from you, seriously - if you're right now even just thinking about it then just grab you're phone and message me now bro - what do you have to lose!
So much love for you all. Please always remember to be kind, patient and understanding to everyone you meet. Everyone's got more to them than what just meets the eye.
Make sure you don't miss out on our next "perfectly chaotic" episode with FOLKERT BOWLER which DROPS THIS SUNDAY!!
Stay Safe & Stay True To Yourself,
Lots of Love for you all,
