Win at home, draw on the road. It’s the refrain of soccer fans. And that’s what this team is doing. But hopefully this saturday, we take three points in Louisville for the first time.

It’s a busy week for us: Open Cup Wednesday against Des Moines, USWNT friendly at Busch on Thursday, and the road trip. We got you covered with info.

That’s all that can be said at this point. The team keeps executing. Even in tornado like winds, STLFC tops Swope Park Rangers and keep on keeping on.

Not much to criticize about the game, so we don’t. We lavish praise, and get ready for the next game against former player Wal Fall and Ottawa.

Ugh. I mean, we’re happy we did what we were supposed to do against a Lilley ran team. But really, nothing noticeable about that game. No goals, no magnificent plays…a slogfest in the rain against a defensive minded team. On to the next: Swope at home!

There was pretty big MLS news this week for STL; we obviously discuss that and what it means. Some time is also spent on the disappointing disconnect between MLS4TheLou and STLFC. I did look for a Ponzi scheme song but nothing worth while to satiate Bird’s rants.

Short one this week…actually clock in at an hour for once.

The three of us agree, we didn’t play bad…just a couple breakdowns on set pieces. And the weather sucks. We’re tired of being wet and cold…But remember that feeling in August.

Yes, we’re finally all back together again. Mitch is done traveling for work for a bit, Bird’s no longer a smug holiday bastard, and Brad has a new job.

So we switched it up, and this was a positive pod. Yes, we know that when the team sucks it’s a better pod. So this one will be the worst, since the team is REALLY doing well.

Since we haven’t had a show in three games, we discuss the games past. Which, again, nothing bad to say. But there’s a lot of good questions asked and we get into the depth of the roster and the system.

Hope they’re all bad podcasts for a while…cause this winning thing is fun. It’s our turn.

It’s been a while since we were in the basement, but now the season is close so you’ll have us partying in your earholes every week very soon.

There were a few signings to talk about, and we talk about the preseason schedule. We talk a lot about the structure of acadamies and the MLS structure at the beginning…which leads us into #MLS4theLou talk.

No new news that we’ve got inside information on, but there is some good discussion on the process that the group is going through. A lot of people were worried about the article that came out this week, but the group explained how it’s part of the process and we delve into that a bit.
