Holy Encounters: Reasonable Doubt - Melanie Bockmann
In this series, we look at three "holy encounters" when Jesus doesn't act like Jesus (or at least like the Jesus we might expect). This week, we will talk about how Jesus responds to a key moment of doubt from one of his own.

NEXT WEEK 3/25/23: Church Retreat: Follow Me…Just As You Are - Josh Woods
We like to say that grace is free, but do we really believe that? We feel pretty secure in God’s grace when we check all the right boxes, but what happens when we fall short? The story of Rahab in the Old Testament tells us that a woman who hadn’t checked any boxes believed and not only received God’s grace, but was given a place of honor in the lineage of Jesus. The grace that God offered to this woman paved the way for Jesus to extend grace to the whole world –and we don’t have to get our act together before that grace is extended to us.

Follow Me: The Inclusivity of the Call - Ken Wetmore
Jesus’ call to follow is not a “one-size-fits-all” endeavor, as demonstrated by his conversation with Mary and Martha. Jesus called sex workers, tax collectors, fishermen, and many others who, according to tradition, served Jesus’ mission in ways unique to them–but all were part of the movement forward.

Follow Me: The Cost, Part II - Ken Wetmore
What happens when the cost is too much? What happens when Jesus asks for something that we think is too precious to give? Many of us look at the story of the rich young ruler and write the young man off. Jesus didn’t. What is impossible for humans is still possible for God.
This week one of our #WholeLifeReflections asked: What is your greatest earthly treasure that if Jesus asked you to give it away and follow Him, it would be a difficult decision?

Follow Me: The Cost, Part I - Ken Wetmore
Jesus pulled no punches when it came to the cost of following Him. Unlike some preachers today, Jesus made it clear that earthly comfort and riches are not the results of following Him.
This week one of our #WholeLifeReflections asked: What does “Jesus first” look like in your life?
