Join Audra Dahl, LPC-S and Bob Hamp, LMFT as they discuss FREEDOM and abuse. This isn’t the freedom that is freedom from something but rather freedom to be something!  Audra has been searching for a while for a really great description of abuse.  This episode does just that and it explains how abuse works covertly so many times in relationship.  

Bob Hamp is the founder of the Think Differently Counseling Consulting and Connecting Center. He has been in private practice and worked in the church for a combined 32 years of practice. Besides his years of private practice and organizational consulting, he spent ten years developing a group discipleship strategy called Freedom Ministry that helped thousands of people find freedom from a broad range of struggles. He has published three books built around the idea that changing thought process is the true meaning of Biblical repentance and therefore, the key component of real change.

He and his wife, Polly, developed Think Differently Academy, an online teaching and training site, for those who want to go further in their freedom journey, and help others do the same.  His video series, Foundations of Freedom, is used worldwide to shift the way people see anew the Gospel, themselves and the pathway to change. He currently offers training and consulting to counselors, ministries, and laypeople. He and his team offer training in facilitating freedom, spiritual leadership, teaching and training strategies and ministry development.

She loves to help individuals through one-on-one sessions and teach and train others to do the same. Polly’s life work comes from her own personal experience of childhood sexual abuse and being a survivor from the sex industry. In 2010 she founded a ministry reaching out to women from the industry then shifted into private practice, focusing on helping people find freedom from trauma and difficult life circumstances.
