This Toxic Fandom

And to think, this is the first time Steven is sober in three episodes! David makes their triumphant return as they come in to celebrate everyone's second favorite kind of cock, cocktails! Okay, that joke might've been too blue, sorry. But the bois talk about cocktail dresses, the mysteries around the suitcases the queens brought, and more! Tune in now and let us know: What's something pretty like you doing in a season like this?

Woe be upon us as we continue to crawl our ways out of the hot, sunny, blistering heat of Los Angeles and try to bring you entertainment from a boulder of unpleasantness known as RuPaul's GAS! I'm sorry, I meant Global All Stars. This week the girls are given hilarious (questionable) scripts that are parodies of classic films and also sequels to Barbie, but everyone gets Jimbo's breast plate because we learned nothing from Veronica Scone I suppose! Meanwhile, Joe and Steven try to keep the boat afloat and by Joe and Steven I mean Joe because Steven is WHAT? Inebriated.

The inmates are running the asylum as David takes a break (because he HAD A FREAKIN' WEDDING AND IS TIRED DAMMIT) so Steven and Joe are left to their own devices, but sadly after a computer malfunction they had to get together after some drinking and re-record this episode! Oh no, it's very silly!!! While the bois slur their way through the latest episode of RuPaul's Global All Stars, the girls are put into groups and told to make a girl group by writing original lyrics to the song Everybody Say Love. Are any of them good? Will Alyssa continue to be the unintentional villain of the season? Will Nihelenia get her moment?! Find out on this latest episode of This Toxic Fandom! Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go back to sleep and get rid of this hangover...

The top four of Canada Vs The World get their portraits done, recap this palette cleanser of a season, and dive into a Lip Sync for the Crown where it could be anyone's game! But it belongs to Lemon, let's not be silly, here. The bois meanwhile dive into how much fun this season was and how great it is when you have a cast with great chemistry and a narrative that makes any of our top four a viable heir to Rajah Davenport O'Hara's crown! Will the crown go back to Canada, or will it remain somewhere else in the commonwealth? Download now to find out!

For some reason that can only be chalked up to poor planning and/or intentional villainy, they decide to do a ball in episode two with THIRTY SOMETHING LOOKS. Glad to know poorly planning international trips isn't just a me problem! The girls are given a James Bond-inspired challenge where they have to make super spies and their octopussy is on fire! Well, some of them. Some of them just wrap themselves in fabric and put on a good wig and call it a day. The bois talk about runways, international travel, and how much they stan Canada. Hey, the finale comes out Friday, so make sure you tune in for that!

Leave it to the Canadians to look at two of the hardest challenges that queens do every season and go "Hey, what if we combined the two?" While we experience some technical difficulties, the bois go into what makes a good and a bad choice, what is so damn funny about saying Cheryl like she bit your finger in an aughts viral video, and why Joe is wrong about How Far I Go not being a good lipsynch song YES JOE I CONTINUE TO CALL YOU OUT HERE IN THE COPY! Want context for this nonsense? Give it a listen now!

What a title, huh folks? While we try to figure out how to make our new profile picture look good (turns out two unathletic Jews and a gym bunny lead to some interesting olympic-themed photographs) let's meet our very first GLOBAL ALL STARS! From all around the world, from the Philipines to Belgium to America, drag queens have congregated under the banner of Drag Race for a chance at glory and now some of the best of the best (and honestly it's a pretty damn stacked cast) have come together to battle it out for the first inductee into the Drag Race Hall of Fame International Pavilion! How EPCOT of them. The bois sit down and go through both parts of this two-part premiere and it is a HOOT, so give it a download now and let's see what these queens from around the world can do!

Let's get this roast a-cookin'! The producers up in Canada prove that they're smarter than the average bear (they have bears in Canada, right?) by combining the reading mini-challenge with the roast challenge! As the girls pair off to read each other the house-down-boots-tongue-pop-yes-gawd, the bois gush about this amuse bouche of a season as it cleanses the pallette and reminds us that the only thing we're fucking is funny. Does that joke work? Are you still reading this? If you are, you have to give us a five star review and listen to the latest episode of This Toxic Fandom - Canada Vs The World series 2!

It's a new day on the pod and we're having a ball! ...Literally. This week the queens have to take on the future in what we're lovingly calling the AI Ball. I was going use AI to write this summery but as a writer I couldn't bring myself to. Can all of these bottom ball girls find a top? Is Feircealicious a petulant child? Who gets a Rudemption? And is there such thing as a good Avril Lavigne lip sync song (David thinks they all are, don't come for him)? All this and more! Take a listen and enjoy!

We're back this week to discuss Canada Vs The World Season Two Episode! Find out if anyone is or found the Hole, while we still ponder why Cheryl lost hers. Also, which reality TV archetype are you? We're itching to know.
