I just want to take this opportunity to wish all mothers a very happy Mother's day. Mothers are the heart of the home.

I looked up the Oxford Dictionary to find out the literal meaning of the word, stand. It means: Remain stationary. This is not a time for you and me to run to and fro and to make a plan. None of my plans has ever worked. It is God’s plans that we need now...

This is not a time for you and me to be hasty, to do things on the spur of the moment... I must confess, one of my failures is that I am too impulsive.

I am too quick off the mark and then I regret the decisions I have made afterwards. We need to wait upon the Lord.

Remember, Peter, after he had been filled with the Holy Spirit, went out into the streets and the very first sermon that he preached, 3000 converts came to Christ. And that was just after he had denied the Lord three times a short while before.

The power of God gives us the strength to keep going. Remember, it is not us but it is Christ in us.

You can go to any town and you will find a flourishing health centre or a gym. Everybody is concerned about their physical status: What they eat, what they drink and what they wear. But I want to ask you a question this morning because God has been asking me the same question... What about our mental and spiritual state of mind?

That is the only weapon that the Lord gave us to defend ourselves with because it is the only weapon we need. In a time when fear and uncertainty is going around the world like a cancer - now is the time to use the word of God.

Jesus is coming back very soon - The signs are all evident all over the world! If we just read the word, the Lord has already warned us. You and I are a band of cloud watchers, that is right!

If ever we needed patience it is in these days, which we are living at the moment. Of course, patience comes through hardship. As a young man, I watched a cowboy movie. I love those movies and I will never...

God has guaranteed His covenant with me and with you. He has made it plain and He has made it clear. He has kept every promised word that He has given to us. Yes, my entire salvation and my desire are secure in the knowledge that Jesus Christ never changes.

The words of the devil are harmful. He is a liar, a thief and he is a bully. Don’t listen to him. He is the accuser of the brethren, not the accuser of the unbeliever - He is the accuser of those who love Jesus. Remember that old saying...
